GravCap Brewing — Restaurant in Oxford Charter Township

5 stars is not nearly enough! We held our engagement party at grav cap brewing recently and we, as well as our guests, were completely blown away! The owners, Teresa and Tom, were so welcoming, helpful and accommodating through the whole process. The place was so clean, beautifully decorated, the price was fair, and the bartenders were extremely top tier. You can bring your own food/dessert which was so unique and worked perfectly for us. They had some cool games that kept the place very classy and upscale. They also allowed us to play our own music and use their microphone. If I need to host another event or recommend a place to a friend, grav cap would be my first choice. It couldn’t have gone smoother. Their brew selection was amazing as well…the marshmallow beer and pineapple cider were my favorites! Thank you to grav cap! We love supporting small, and you’re definitely one of our favorites! I was so excited to visit this place, especially with all the glowing reviews, but the service was horrible. There were only 2 other people in the entire place and our group of 3 struggled to get beers ordered. The waitress wasn't very knowledgeable about the beers or wines available, something you wouldn't expect from a place that brews it's own beer.... The selection is small and they "ran out of most last night." Two IPAs we tried had an aftertaste of dirt. We then asked for our check, which took far too long to get and charged us for a beer we didn't have and the waitress continued to make more excuses....we paid our bill, left and won't be returning.

Edit: after reading owner's response, I'm saddened to know they claim to do this prep work and still fall so short of a quality tap room. Better training is clearly needed along with owners who truly care about their business to be present at...

Great spot to relax and enjoy a delicious beer. They have a great beer selection on tap that is all brewed on site, so good! We went to kill a couple hours and we had the best most relaxing time. We had our 10 year old daughter with us and she thoroughly enjoyed herself as well. They have games that you can play with at your table. No kitchen but they have free popcorn, peanuts, and bar mix. I was a bit hungrier than that so I scanned the Sick Pizza QR code on our table, ordered online and the Sick Pizza team showed up within minutes to deliver our food at no charge (no delivery fee).
