I am willing to go the distance for pizza. My friend had told me about this new pizza place that was opening soon, and I had to try it out. My order: - Tree Hugger Veggie Pizza - Detroit Style Deep Dish - Bread Sticks Okay... I have mixed feelings about the pizza and bread sticks here. Let me start with the pizza. - Tree Hugger Veggie Pizza: This pizza was so overly loaded with toppings that they were falling off the pizza as soon as each slice was picked up. It was to the point that there were enough veggies left in the plate/box it could make a small salad if gathered together in a bowl. I was not too happy about that because it made for a sloppy pizza experience. The dough on the other hand, was unlike any other I have had before. It was fluffy and light. It was delicious, but when it came to the crust, it was missing that Detroit style "crunch". The sauce and cheese were well proportioned to the pizza. - Bread Sticks: The bread sticks were top notch. I loved every bite. The whole time, I was thinking to myself, it would be amazing if these were stuffed with fresh mozzarella cheese (essentially to turn it into a Basco stick)! I would definitely come back for that because very few pizza places offer that. This pizza restaurant already has the perfect breadstick; it would be awesome if they introduced their own version of the Basco stick. With better topping proportions and a crunch to the Detroit style crust, this pizza restaurant could easily be a five star restaurant and at the top of my pizza recommendations.

Note: read the "5 star"reviews... sounds like a bunch of family and friends reviews and are no value add. Worked in Pizza for a decade and have eaten enough of it to know there are different times for different Za... except Sick. Tried them twice and family agreed it isn't good at all. 1st time had a deep dish Pickle and it was so bland it was disgusting... like taking a scoop of warm ricotta and trying to swallow it. Wanted to like it, but threw 1/2 away (313 has a dialed in Pickle pizza). Tried again tonight for a "16 inch" round with Pepperoni, sausage and 1/2 mushroom. #1 pizza is on the high end but not ridiculous for 16" but absurd for a 14 which is what they give you. Mushrooms were on 3/8 of the pizza (but a whole pizza worth on those 3 pieces). They comment on how the cook/brown the sausage and don't use "little balls"... well it tastes like unseasoned browned sausage which is bland regardless if from Eastern Market. Might as well hit the pepperoni with a food processor to be consistent. The dough... you can tell it is a decent dough recipe, but it wasn't cooked on any of the pizzas we tried. Bottom was done but doughy in the middle... maybe if they stretched it to 16". Tried twice... missed the mark both times for consistent reasons. Won't be back.

We got Sick Pizza for my birthday dinner. We've dragged our feet a little because their pricing can be expensive. So we waited for a special occasion. We got two pizzas and a breadstick. A large square Glen's Super and a large round (half cheese/half pepperoni). This proved to be a lot of pizza. A slice or two of the square is all an average person would need. As for the taste. I liked the round pizza more than the square. I found the square to be dry. No better way to describe it. They really pile on the toppings for the Glen's Super. That is unique to what you usually get. I thought the breadsticks were okay. I'd try the cheese bread next time. I'd give it a try again, but their pricing keeps us from considering it more often.

Probably one of the most disappointing orders I've placed in a long time. I saw them on door dash, but I went to their actual website to order. I placed an order. It says error. Try again. Error. Credit card charged. I get it not all their fault. So, I call. They call owner and the owner says my money will get sent back to my card. Well, what about the fact that I'm still hungry and want the food I ordered?!? The guy, who mind you is nice takes my order while asking me all the information he already has written down again. Then, tells me it will be about an hour. Fine. I'm lucky that I was watching for the driver or else my food would have been left on someone else's doorstep because I got a notification that my food was delivered clearly not to my house. I tried calling and they are foreign and can barely speak English. I'm all for everyone getting jobs, but if you can't communicate and can't call if you are unsure of where you are dropping off food this is a problem.

My extra cheese pizza is just a extra cheese pizza nothing special. My cheeseburger pizza tastes like pizza crust, mayo, lettuce and nothing else. I had wanted a cheeseburger pizza so bad and the whole thing was a big disappointment. Clearly, no one cares about actual customer service or else the owner would have actually cared about the fact I wanted food from them. If you own a business you are always on the clock. If you don't have someone there at your business that knows how to handle a situation then maybe you should actually be there or train your employees properly.

I definitely do not like writing bad reviews, but when I have been charged almost $100 to my card and have to deal with all of this ridiculousness and get bad food on top of it I'm never ordering from there again. I probably won't even here anything from the "owner". Also, I looked on their website for contact information so I didn't have to write a review and they don't have...

There was no sign that said that you had to go inside the restaurant to sign in to be seated. I was in electric wheelchair, I just pulled into the patio and sat at the table with my service dog. A waitress came up to me and was very rude! She told me I would have to go into the building and let them know that I was there so that I could be seated properly. I explained to her. There was no sign that said that on the outside of their building. I apologized it wasn't good enough. She said, I needed to go in and I said I do have a service dog. She looked at me like I was some freak from some circus. Well, well, there's nobody here and there were three empty tables, so I don't understand what the big deal was. She says well, i guess this will have to do. This was to take out what was the big deal? So another waitress comes to me and she was very nice, much appreciated. I did apologize for breaking the protocol. I ordered a small detroit pizza, which I did not like there was no taste to it at all!!!! I ordered cheesy breadsticks with the garlic sauce and got marinara sauce. Was very, very disappointed in the pizza. Even the pepperoni was supposed to be spicy, had no flavor!!! I graded this place a very poor score. They really need to be more sensitive to their customers instead of being rude!!! My service dog was a full service dog.It was not an emotional support dog! So I will not be attending, nor will I ever go that establishment again!!!!! People will service dogs and electric chairs beware of that place!!!!!!! That accommodating for those that are...
