The Bank - Oxford — Restaurant in Oxford

If you are ever close to the Oxford area this is a must stop! My husband and I stumbled upon this gem while in town to see a concert at the Oxford Performing Arts Center. They offer a selection of, what were arguably some of the best cocktails I have ever had. The BeesKnees and The Old Fashion were winners. I don't even like old fashions! They also serve a variety of charcuterie boards, from savory to sweet. Absolutely fantastic. The vibe is very "speak easy" without the password. Set in a very old bank site, they have carried the bank theme all the way through to the names of their offerings as well as the "teller" that serves you. A place to feel sophisticated, without feeling the need to dress a certain way or play a part. Very comfortable, chic, upscale but down home, super cool experience. No detail has been left off. Writing reviews is not my specialty, but The Bank, located in Oxford AL's old Bank and Trust building is worthy of all the good words. This over 21 establishment offers a great menu of cocktails and the charcuterie selections cannot be beat. The atmosphere is an experience in and of itself. There is no better place in Calhoun county. We had after dinner drinks and a cheesecake board and WOW. I recommend this place to anyone and everyone. The staff and owners are incredibly educated and take pride in delivering high quality cocktails and food. I am so thankful we stumbled upon this slightly hidden gem in downtown Oxford.
