Spring Street Station — Restaurant in Oxford

I have a mixed opinion about this restaurant. The food was good, our waitress was good and did her best, considering. Our family has a reunion on this weekend every year. We had been going to Hubbard's for several years, but decided to try this restaurant this year. The family member that coordinates this event made a reservation quite a while ago. We arrived there today at 11:00, and they were not ready for us. They had to pull several tables together because we were a large group. I wondered why they hadn't already done this. We then found out that the staff had not been told about us coming, and she was the only waitress. Hats off to her for doing her best. It took over an hour for our food to start being served, and by the time our end of the table was served, the other end had already finished. They are understaffed and over priced. We waited about an hour for our food and had 4-5 tables served ahead of us even though they showed up 20-30 minutes after is. The food was mediocre, over priced and the atmosphere was not good. It seemed like more of a temporary pop up kind of place than a permanent restaurant. 55 bucks for a plain cheeseburger(over cooked) with fries, sloppy joe(not good at all) with cheese curds and a small salad that was 98 percent “greens” (gross) with about a quarter of a small container of dressing and all 2 sodas. We had a nice time overall. The service was prompt, and we didn't have to wait long for our food. The cheese curds appetizer was a highlight, with a flavorful outside, but the cheese inside was a bit chewy. Unfortunately, the rest of the meal didn't quite live up to our expectations.
