Very quaint spot! Love the building and interior art! I visited over the weekend with a friend and ordered an omelette, French toast, and beignets. While the food was delicious, it took 40+ minutes to be served. We arrived just before 10a and didn't receive our food until around 10:45a. They are new, having recently opened, so I am sure they are still getting their footing. They could do with a more extroverted cashier. She wasn't rude, but she wasn't forthcoming enough to draw patrons in. For example, a good greeting would have been, "Hi! Welcome to Le Coin! Is this your first visit?" (because they are new and most customers are going to be new). If yes, "Our menu is here on the screen. Let me know if you have any questions. When you are ready to order, come visit me at the register!" The young lady they had seemed shy. If food preparation is taking more than 20 minutes, check in with the customer to apologize for the delay, engage them in small talk, and give them an ETA. All in all, I will return after a month or so, which should be enough time to have worked out kinks and have faster service. Looking forward to updating my review because, again, it is such a cute place with a...
Read moreAs our first time visit, the atmosphere and decor were beautiful and very artsy. The chairs at the tables were very comfortable. They were out of several Ingredients on their menu which was disappointing. We went during breakfast and had the 2 eggs your way and monte cristo. The eggs were good with added cheddar cheese, however the ham pieces added, tasted as if they had gone bad and left an after taste. The fruit that came with the monte was definitely not ripe. The drinks were pretty good though both my drink and food came before my spouses. They are pretty pricey for the portions and taste of food. The staff seem friendly but it appeared to be more than necessary of them there based on the wait time from start to finish. After you’re done they have an area to place your used dishes. As nice as it appears I don’t think I will return...
Read moreWaited over 45 minutes for ONE ice coffee and food. I’d go up and request a refund, but the barista has a poor attitude and seems overwhelmed from numerous people getting impatient with their orders. I typically have empathy for overwhelmed staff after working in the service industry myself, but her attitude was stand offish from the beginning. Cute place, horrible staff. Waited over 45 minutes for a warm iced latte, 3 mid beignets, and 2 spinach croissants (not even the sausage, egg, and cheese croissants we ordered) . It’s not even worth going back in to request an almost $60-after-tip refund. Don’t waste your time unless they announce they have new staff. Even McDonald’s has better...
