The pepper jack breakfast sandwich was delicious but the house potatoes and their salsa were mediocre at best.
At first the sever who took down are order was nice but then we got stuck with this young lady with glasses who was overall rude. She accidentally brought the wrong order to my friend and when my friend told her politely about the wrong order the waitress was bothered. When the waitress got the plate and turned around she rolled her eyes. When the waitress thought that my other friend got the wrong order, she tried taking my friend's plate without asking if it was correct or not, (again bothered). My other friend politely told her that her order was correct. The waitress rolled her eyes at her. The waitress didn't even bother to hide it.
Also it took more than 40 minutes to get our food and no one gave us any updates on our food or apologize. No one ever refilled our cups or offered us napkins. No one ever checked on us to see if we needed anything or asked how is the food.
This was my first time there and I told my friend is it just me or is she being rude? My friend said oh yeah, she's always rude and I come here often.
I told her well this will be my last time coming because I do not tolerate that and you were nothing but polite with her the whole time.
That young lady with the glasses was rude the whole time. I wish I had the one who took my order instead. It's like that young lady with the glasses swooped in to get all the credit and the tips.
When I paid in cash, the young lady with the glasses gave me back my change and said with attitude here's your change. So I gladly didn't tip her.
How do you expect people to come back with that rude service and...
Read moreThe food was terrible, it took over 35 minutes to receive it. 1 slice of toast instead of two, the toast was unbuttered and service did not include butter, the hash browns were cooked on a very hot grill as a result they were raw on the inside and burnt on the outside. The Denver omelette was covered with a very nasty melted cheese sauce. The biscuits and gravy were cold and there was almost no gravy. The gravy was greasy not buttery as you would expect. Mostly consisted of some mysterious meat and bread. The coffee was even bad, seemed like it was made yesterday. The inattention to detail was obvious in the service as well. We were escorted to a table that was wiped with a dirty towel and the seats were still wet. It took over 7 minutes to receive a glass of water (served in a plastic cup without a straw) and a cup of terrible coffee. The girl refilling coffee cups refilled all the cups except my wifes. We tried the food and decided to cut our losses, we did not eat the food and no asked if there was a problem! We were there almost an hour and spent less than 2 minutes tasting and not one person noticed. $27.00 for the worst...
Read moreWe were leaving Camarillo and wanted to stop for breakfast on our way up north. Seen this place and seen it had 4.5 stars, so thought its gonna be good rt.....nope. We got coffee, hot chocolate, chile verde chilaquiles, French toast, biscuits and gravy and T-bone steak n eggs. Best thing was the hot chocolate and French toast. I couldn't believe they sold that T-bone steak. I think it was spoiled, I have never tasted somthin like that. Sausage that came with the French toast was not great either. The potatoes that come with the meals were really bland and definitely tasted like they were from the day before. The chilaquiles were cold and a little too sour for my liking. But they werent horrible. Biscuits n gravy was blah, they put gravy on a hard crispy thin biscuit, it needed more flavor. Food was definitely not worth $74. I'm really not sure what people ate to give this place 4.5 stars. The waiters n waitresses were super nice and attentive. Service was good. I'm not the type of person to complain to the server so I hope the owners look at their reviews and make some...
