Read moreI've been here several times. The people there are friendly and they keep the bathroom clean. I always want to know how well kept bathrooms are because if they can't keep it clean, then what else are they not keeping clean?
We arrived about 20 minutes before it turned over to dinner, this last visit. I must say that while lunch was still being served, it was not so great. They weren't really refilling what was laid out that wasn't on the dinner list. It's pretty clear that they had been sitting out for a bit. Obviously though, the dinner was fresh and delicious. Just keep the timing in mind when you visit.
I personally love all the choices you get. From comfort food, to healthy, it has it all. It's a great value because if you go to some place like iHop or Denny's, your check is likely the same cost as Golden Corral but you're limited on what you can order. iHop and Denny's may offer 2 sides but they're usually limited to some kind of potato and some "mixed" or "seasonal" vegetables, which is usually cheaper veggies like green beans. Though iHop does offer broccoli.
At Golden Corral, you can have a veggie plate if you want complete with zucchini, broccoli, brussel's sprouts, or anything! They even have a potato bar.
Healthy dishes are present (like baked fish fillets) but I will admit that they are less prominent. The salad bar is tremendous, but I would like to see a few more dressings.
The wait staff are very kind and accommodating. If you've never been there, you'll pay when you walk in and then grab a plate and stack it up!
All in all, for the quality, flavor and value I do highly recommend it and after all, it is all you can eat. One plate almost always does it for me, but sometimes you just want seconds.
I'm in no way connected to this chain of restaurants. Just a...

Service is fine normal for a buffet location some waiters and waitresses are more attentive than others but they I'll do the job to make your experience pleasent.
Prices vary between week and weekend and Food Services of breakfast a few cents less short of $11.00, lunch and dinner. Last weekend I did breakfast, I went in early around 8:40ish and they were just getting started heating up the food and putting out the buffet pork steaks are there main meat dish for breakfast alongside their omelet bar which is rather limited but you could still make a good Denver or spinach and mushroom omelette, no egg whites or whole eggs. They have tortillas which is nice. They do have fish and fried chicken just to get your heart pumping early in the morning. Tons of bacon and sausages, pancakes, some with fruit, french toast, small Belgium waffles, banana nut bread, ice cream the chocolate fountain is up-and-running. Oh and the meal comes with Orange juice, Apple juice, water or milk. Anything else you need to pay extra yes even coffee.
Dinner, I've gone back because of the steak dinner with a side of fried chicken and a dinner roll. I wish the would have tortillas at dinner the steak tacos, I could make would have me going more often, way more often.
Please add nopales, tortillas, pico de gallo a few, gluten free things like this would be great. All found in a Mexican/Latinx corral lol.
Enjoy your trip and please...
