I just left a positive review on another chinese restaurant in Ozark, so I thought I'd come share my experience with this restaurant. First off, the food is very mediocre, but the prices are cheap, so I will give them that. However, during the quarantine, my boyfriend went to Lucy's to order food. When he pulled up to the drive thru speaker, the employee told him to, "hold on". He waited for quiet a while before she came back at which point she seriously told him that they were too busy to serve him & didn't even apologize. I understand that they probably were extremely busy, and if she would have been more polite or professional, I wouldn't be leaving this review & we would still eat there, BUT...she was rude about it, and didn't even apologize for the inconvenience or the fact that she told him to hold on & he sat there wasting his time for her to just come back & say, "we're too busy". Would not recommend this restaurant OR its rude employee. There are plenty of other good restaurants in Ozark who appreciate...
Read moreI got two “full” orders of chicken. S&S and cashew. Both come with a side of fried rice.
Got takeout, and the service was friendly and very fast. My friend and I, being the only customers, got our food within about 5 minutes of ordering. The portions are quite small. If this is a full, I can’t imagine what half looks like. Each serving costed $10.25. The rice is kind of plain, but it’s not bad. Their fried rice seems to be made with eggs, onion, and ham, which I feel is kinda weird, but again, not bad. The sweet and sour sauce is good! . The chicken is pretty good too, but some pieces have a weird texture. The cashew sauce also tastes pretty good, but it’s super thin, so it doesn’t stick to the chicken very well. Not my fav cashew chicken sauce, though.
Overall a pretty enjoyable dinner, but for the price compared to the serving size, I can’t say I’ll be eating here unless I’m craving their sweet and sour sauce...
Read moreOrdered vegetable fried rice. Got about a third of the way through it & then saw there was meat in it. Took it up to the counter and asked why there was meat in vegetable fried rice and could they make another order without the meat because I was vegetarian. The gal at the counter said no to making another plate but then said she'd check. There was discussion in the back with the cooks. It was an awkward situation that shouldn't have been. There was no info on the menu board about their being meat in their "veg. fried rice" and after I told her I was a vegetarian, there should have been an apology and an immediate offer to make another plate with the correct items per their order board. Besides that, food was very salty & both cashew and their sweet & sour sauce was salty & bland. Grossed out & treated poorly and...
