Subway — Restaurant in Pacific Grove

They're always wonderful, kind, quick, and so friendly. I've always loved subway, and I've been to many, all over the continent and a few overseas... this is by far my favorite.

there is a shorter, a little older, extremely kind, woman who works there and has for many years. She was there back when I was living out of the area and my visits home she would let me practice my (awful) Spanish to order my sandwich so I wouldn't forget (since I lived where there were virtually ZERO Spanish as a first language speaking people 🤦🏼‍♂️). Now that I'm home, and i order it through the app mostly, she always makes me feel confident in knowing my sandwich is going to be exactly what I ordered and never misses a chance to say "hola" as I pick up and go. She not only deserves to be recognized as an amazing employee - she deserves a raise. I would go out of the way to get a sandwich from her, as opposed to any other subway or sandwich...

On several occasions I have ordered the $7.99 meal deal which they seem to have done away with. Now, Subway is offering a $6.99 footlong, .. the problem is that none of the Monterey area Subways honor these coupons (coupon code 699FL) (which all have to be used through their silly app - I HATE app ordering). Eventually, I called the guy who owns all or most of the Monterey area Subways. That guy is a true stinker, ... I suggested having one single meal deal price and some other simple changes which customers would really like. For example, most people have a favorite sandwich, ... they don't want a separate meal deal for each day of the week, ... and so on. After several experiences like this at the Pacific Grove and Monterey locations, I decided to abandon Subway permanently. I suggest you vote with your pocketbook and...

I have never felt so disrespected! The two wemon didn't understand English fully, which is fine, but they were frustrated at me for it! I asked for "everything BUT olives". They didn't understand what I was saying. She kept picking up olives then rolled her eyes when I said no, no olives. Her and her friend, that also worked there, then started speaking Spanish to eachother about me. I understand Spanish. What they were saying was absurdly inappropriate, rude, and unprofessional! She then didn't put what I asked for in my sandwich, put way to much mayonnaise after I asked her to stop! She then cut the sandwich halfway and rapped it without closing it. This whole time still continuing to say rude...
