They screwed up Diet Cokes!

On our way out of town, we decided to get a couple of Diet Cokes to drink for our drive home. We pulled up to the window to get them, and even from there as I watched the machine making the drinks, I could see that the mix was off and there was air in the line. (In a prior life, I worked at McDonald's for several years, so I know the signs.)

The crewmember put the lid on and I knew right away that it was only 2/3 full from all the foam that spilled out when it was being "filled". He tried to hand me the drink which was covered on the outside with spilled soda. I told him to please clean off the exterior of the cup. He was obviously put out by the request, but grumpily complied. As soon as he handed the drink to me, I looked in and, low and behold, it was only about 2/3 full.

I informed the crewmember and his response was "Well, that is how the machine makes it."

I decided to not waste my time and asked for the manager. The manager was obviously not happy and ALSO said, "Well, that's how the machine makes them."

I responded "Don't you teach your employees to do any Quality Control... you know, only serve it if it is right?" She responded by taking the cup and filling it to the proper level.

When the crewmember handed me the cup, he said "Have a nice day" and turned away, at which point I reminded him that we ordered 2 drinks. He handed me the other, and of course, it had the same problem as the first.

At this point, I decided to cut my losses and just take the partially filled drink.

As I drove away, I took a sip, and as I indicated, the mix of the soda was off which meant it tasted gross. I did not go back since it seemed that no one cared about whether or not they gave a good product and I had to ask myself how much stress I wanted in my life over $2...

It's McDonald's. What else can be said? With the prices now up so much with the cost of living it's rare to get McDonald's for us. The food should be better and you should get fresh food any time of day. You still get old fries depending on what time you go and if it's busy or not but it's rare. The employees are nice. I've never really had a problem with the customer service at this location and very rarely do I have to go back because the order wasn't right . It's fast, easy and quick when you don't feel like cooking after a busy day at work or running errands. My only issue is with all the points I get from using the app. You should be able to use them all at once like on 2 or more items. It sucks that you can only get one thing at a time. Me and my husband both use my app but we can only get one item at a time. We end up not using points we earned because it's not right for one to get something and not the other and we can't afford a $4 to $6 frappe when everything is already overpriced everywhere. Also if you use your points for something then you can't use one of the deals so again we end up not using the points to use a deal instead. You should be able to do both since you received those points from past purchases and getting free food and deals are what you use the app for right? Yet I rarely use my points and have even lost them. Because of the reasons I stated above. But that's my opinion only. Thanks. ( Four stars...

A huge thank you to the manager Chris R. We have two small children, and after a difficult weekend trip we were heading home with two tired little ones in tow. My four year old saw the toys on the wall and was so excited, but then so disappointed when the toy in his happy meal was entirely different. For those of you that are parents - you understand how hard it is to reason with a tired, hungry four year old. We weren’t looking forward to a few hours of tears on a long drive, so I went inside and asked if there were any left that I could buy - but was told they were all out and not giving those any longer. Then, the manager ChrisR, actually took the cardboard display out and gave my son the ENTIRE thing. I almost started crying. Words cannot express my gratitude. Chris, you literally did a lot more on Sunday afternoon than give away a few plastic toys.
