Mom's Diner — Restaurant in Pahrump

DONT UNDERSTAND ALL THOSE GOOD SO CALL REVIEWS ((((FOOD CRITIC)))) I came in a little after 2pm, the people are friendly, my server was super sweet and I gave him a really nice tip. But the food was horrible when we order food for me and my 2 grown kids i ordered chilli fries my other 2 kids ordered cheeseburger and my daughter chicken Fried steak came with mashed potatoes and vegetables, the vegetables we're nasty It was mushy and cold the mashed potato, WAS also cold Her Chicken Fried steak COLD as well It was not even hot. My chili fries was horrible They sprinkled cheddar cheese on top not even melted at all, The Chile itself was cold. The fries wasn't even hot at all so I knew right away when I ordered our food and it came out fast I knew it was not freshly cooked It was prepared already the fries, it was not made fresh You can tell it was put in an oven to warm up So it would be crispy but the food it was not at all made on the spot The entire food was cold they had a soup that wasn't even hot at all It was lukewarm like preheat it It was good, but I can tell it was not fresh. It was pre made a couple of days, the place is really nice and I'm antique I enjoyed the place but the food was horrible..... I have come here before a couple of years ago. And the food was much better than but now, lately they're declining on their food It's unfortunate because they used to have good food made fresh. You used to walk into mom's diner, and you can smell the food right away being made that it had a very cold Atmosphere coming in no smell of food at all, it just preheated food, and to make matters worse, as soon as we came home, we live in Henderson, nevada, and we were visiting puhrump i sometimes come here and visit. Because I used to come to mom's diner yesterday was the last straw We'll not be coming here again It's unfortunate, to make matter worse, we came home and my kids had really bad diarrhea and stomach ache from the food that was not freshly made god knows how long they've had that food. Stored, precooked we travel around and eat at different places. And when I say this place ranks 0 on my list Be careful when eating here Their food is not what...

How can you get 2 orders of sandwiches wrong and get the wrong side for each plate. This is embarrassing. This was our first time here. I hope their server don't mess up this much.

Other server/busser male was kind enough to offer extra napkins and ask us if we needed anything else.

Sandwich was alright. it could have used more seasonings on their food and some mayo or some sort of condiments on the sandwich. The presentation was not bad. Coffee tasted amazing. I love the decorations they have displayed on their walls very welcoming.

The only thing that i didn't like is seeing some of their server with long fake nails. As a former food server, I've worked in a professional kitchen and waitress. I have never ones seen anyone in this line of work, even in other fancy restaurants with long fancy nails. Sorry seeing their servers here with long nails was very disturbing.

Clean short nails is what we were taught serving at a professional level. Yes it pretty to have long nails but little chunk of food can get stuck between your own nails and fake nails.

Pls be wise with your nail choices. It might look pretty, but it doesn't belong working as a food server.

One last thing I do enjoy that fact they sell coffee cup you can bring with you to receive free coffee with your meal every time you bring it in with you.

Even with mistake that happen yesterday I will give them another chance and bring my entire family to come eat because their are other food that we haven't able to try and definitely will try some...

We just went to this restaurant. The customer service was very poor they were very rude to us the waitress and the manager they set us at a little tiny 4 people table fitting 6 of us 4 hispanics a hawaiian and a black woman they treated so unkind two other tables volunteer to give us their tables they straight out told them no. We have to get what we get and be happy with it. Then they told us to leave the restaurant because we're asking them to serve us the same way they were serving another party of 7 and they had two tables together. She told us to leave or we would be escorted out if we didn't leave. I asked for the store manager's name. She said this isn't las vegas she was being loud and belligerent with us and never gave me the phone number or store managers name. I've never felt so little in my life. I come to this restuarant all the time when I'm visiting I refer everyone but I always come with my husband which he is white and they usaully except us. This resturant is the most racist restaurant I've ever incountered. Would never go back or recommend to anyone of color. I am appalled and feel worth nothing for how poorly I was treated.
