La Michoacana Premium — Restaurant in Palatine Township

I love this Michoacana and even drive 15 minutes from my home even though their is 2 other closer to me. TONIGHT! I had terrible service from one of the employees. Her name is GUADALUPE! She was so rude when I was ordering; even making snarky comments to the other employees about my order just simply asking for a chicharon prepared with all the toppings to be put in a small bag aside since im not going to eat in the car and dont want it soggy when i get home. I also asked for a regular elote and it seemed like she did not comprehend what a regular elote was... a regular elote does not come with hot cheetohs Guadalupe; even her co-worker told her that so she just made herself look dumb. Excellent. Although we couldn't understand the menu or choices the lady behind the counter was very helpful and responsive. She helped us with the combination. We tried the mango chili as that was something our friends had recommended. And it was good. Plus the service was excellent. Will surely visit next time and try something different. Only recommendation please put out a menu with description in English for folks like us who have very little idea on the combos and contents of these ice creams also add description on what it's made of and fruits/yogurts/toppings/etc. Will increase your business 10 fold. No offense to anyone but I am going to convert over to going to ice cream places like La Michoacana from now on. The variety of ice creams is phenomenal - there's so much to choose from.

From fruits flavored sorbets to ice cream to yogurt to fruits and food - tons of choices. I particularly love the lime/chilli/fruit ice creams mix - they are the best.

Quality is quite good. Only thing I would ask the establishment to improve is to mark their ice creams with their names - I had to ask and it took about 2-3 minutes just to go over all their varieties and name them :-) that's how many...
