Taqueria La Rosita Palatine — Restaurant in Palatine Township

First time visiting and not a good experience. I came here because a relative suggested getting lunch from here for their lunch break. I wanted to order gorditas but I was told there were no more, so I ordered 6 tacos to go. Paid $24 and change for just the 6 tacos. I placed the order at 2:50, five customers ordered and received their food, some of the food handed to them were gorditas. Let’s give them the benefit of the doubt they ran out right as I got there…. But I didn’t get my to go order until 3:23! 30 minutes to get tacos?! The lady didn’t even remember what I ordered. I get that hickups happen, but man the way a business handles it says a lot! She wasn’t embarrassed about how long the wait was, no shame in ignoring me for the 30 minutes I sat in front of the register, and when another customer stepped in to insist to handle my order the lady didn’t...

This place is trash. You get small tacos and they charge you over $4. If you order a stuffed pepper chile relleno you get a slice of pepper with some cheese. On top of that if you order lettuce or tomato you will get charged extra for those toppings.

Go to any other La Rosita (there's several of them) and you will note the massive difference. These people are straight scandalous. Not to mention they are rude and unpleasant as if you are a nuisance to them.

Do yourself a favor and go to any other La Rosita....
