OMG! This has to be one of my most awful experiences I have had at a McDonald's. I was the only person in the drive-thru at the time of my order. I spent over thirty dollars for McDonald's I waited over twenty minutes for my food. They asked me to pull at spot one. The team member came out to the car and asked me what we ordered. I read back the order to the team member exactly what was on my receipt. The team member did not even look in the bag. Hands us the bag and said you are good my friend. Needless to say the order was completely inaccurate. I went inside and spoke with the team member and asked him to look in the bag and check my receipt and tell me what is missing from the order that I had paid for and waited over twenty minutes for. The team member then tells me so what do you want your money back? And I just lost it. I said yes I want my money back and I am calling corporate. The team member took the food I do not know what they did with it. The manager or shift lead on duty what ever she was. Took my card process the refund then slams on the counter my card with the receipt and walks away. I then said how rude! You don't say I am sorry or thank you or even have a nice day? After all it was not my mistake but theirs.. I asked her if she was the manager on duty and what her name was and with attitude said I am not telling you my name. I responded that is okay I will find out because I am calling corporate about this. This is unacceptable we have a covid pandemic going on people order through drive-thru for safety and have to go through this?? So...
Read moreI’m not one to leave reviews ever but this is how EXCESSIVE this has gotten. This McDonalds is NOTORIOUS for parking people in drive thru. Every time I go here, they park me without fail. No matter my order size I’m being asked to park and wait an additional 10-15 minutes. I ordered ONE double cheeseburger only ketchup and they again wanted to park me. This time I refused and within seconds I had my burger. How is that even possible?? When the manager tried to ask me to park because I ordered it only ketchup, I was floored. That’s absolutely an excuse. I used to be manager at McDonalds for years. There’s absolutely NO reason to park a customer for ONE damn double cheeseburger only ketchup. That’s a management issue and a grill production issue. The management sucks at this store because they don’t stay on top of production. I absolutely will be calling corporate and filing a complaint. Pay attention folks, you will see cars parked all day long waiting for orders through the drive thru. That is no lie. And all the while I’m sure they’re manipulating their drive thru KPI numbers to make their drive thru numbers look good. I would bet in that. I’m sure that’s happening, otherwise how have they gotten away with doing this to customers this long? Save yourself the 15 min drive thru wait and go to the McDonalds on northwest highway or on Arlington heights. You will never wait for your food at either of...
Read moreTldr: The food is good when made right, but they often make mistakes or forget things. The managers are also unwilling to help. Take the gamble if you're feeling lucky.
Mediocre is a fair rsting for this store. I order maybe 2 to 3 times a week either through Uber Eats or drive thru. The food quality is typically decent, butnifnthere is a legit issue, the people I have spoken to over the phone are completely indifferent and unwilling to fix a mistake. After at least 30 orders, the most common problems are undercooked fries, no straw for a drink, or forgetting the drink altogether. Their error rate is about one in 3 orders, and at this point, even though I have ordered through Uber so many times, they do not even respond to me when there is a probelm and the store itself just smugly tells you that if you ordered through uber they cant help you. I also contacted their customer comment platform and either recieved a bit response or a completely unhelpful reply. I gave up on this store today since they again forgot my straw for the drink. My last order was through the drive thru and they made a mistake After at least 10 problems over the past 6 months, I would have still come back if they would just fix their errors, but instead they make it seem like I am at fault. Bye...
