Panda Express — Restaurant in Palatine Township

I wish there was an option for 0 stars. We ordered dinner for 3 people(4 items) .. got only 2 of them ( rice and chicken) and two bowls missing . The person who gave didn't say anything and I know they must be knowing that item was missing as it only had 1 fortune cookies. Anyway reached home , two bowls missing and those were for kids. Called the restaurant but they couldn't help as restaurant wa getting closed and Manager was not there. The person asked me to come back tomorrow to take rest of the food or call tomorrow to get refund after talking to manager. They were not even sorry . I asked him to ask the manage to call back . Manager called the next day and she was the most rude person I ever talked. Many people has mentioned this in their review. She was more like come back and get your rest of the food .. I said no .. so She said okay I understand you paid for 4 and got only 2 so we will refund the money for ONLY 2 with stress on only 2. It was just about refunding money , no sorry no apologies. That too after I will send the proof of what I paid by sending her the reciept. Please don't go there.. bad service , bad food , very very bad...

Just to add on to what Shesto Cuteforu had mentioned. I went in on nov 24th to get the "bigger plate" option. The meal comes with 3 entrées. The guy before me (Caucasian) gets the same order as me. The helper piles rice on his order and sends him happily on his way. I ask for the same thing and I barely get a spoon full of rice. Mind you I'm getting the 3 entrée meal. I respectfully ask the little short "manager" lady for a bit more rice since I'm getting 3 entrees and she goes; very rudely; "that's how much we give for portion sizes." Now I obviously saw how much she rice she piled on top of the previous customers plate. So I ask "well how much is it for extra rice?" She keeps serving the customers behind me and just keeps my order moving to the next person like she didn't hear me. I was livid, embarrassed and felt discriminated against because I didn't get the same service as the previous guy. All in all the little Caucasian girl manager is a rude employee and i did not enjoy my experience at this particular chain. Usually panda is good with service but this location because of the "manager"...

Extremely disappointed, I ordered ahead since I would be picking it up on my way home from work. Got there right on time and even sat in the car for a few min to give them a couple extra min, my exsistance was ignored for 5 min, and my food wasn't ready till 15 min after my pick up time. People were being helped and there were only a couple of other people in the store. It wasn't until they cleared everyone out that they asked me about my order and started to prepare it.Also I thought it weird that a bigger plate with 2 portions of Beijing Beef and an order of string bean chicken, the beef was split between the container and a side. I love panda express but the service I receive at most locations is dismal.

Post meal edit- everything was undercooked, I know the beef was fresh I saw them put it in the steamer tray, it was chewy. string bean chicken even being undercooked tasted fine, chow mein was a tad rubbery and you can tell they put to many egg rolls in the fryer which dropped the oil temp, but it was edible and I was starving have not had a chance to eat today.
