Wendy's — Restaurant in Palatine Township

BEWARE Employees STEAL and LIE to customers!!!!! This location need to be under investigation immediately!!!! The Employees overcharged and refused to give me a receipt. I went to this location on New Year’s Day around 11:55am and was charged $9.82 (for corporate reference) the cashier (Mexican heavy set girl with glasses) overcharged me. She charged me for a frosty that should have been free. After she ran my card I asked her if I was charged for the frosty and she told me no. I asked for a receipt and she lied and said there is no more paper and she can hand write me a receipt 🤔 I’m sure to write down whatever price she wanted. I told her, I was charged for the frosty because my total is the same amount that I saw on the screen when the frosty was added. This girl then lied to my face and said my drink was $4.95 instead of the actual price which was $3.59 in hopes I’d believe I wasn’t actually charged for the frosty. Really Wendy’s???? These are the type of ppl you have working for your company??? The manager walks up then digs in her pocket and give me $1 which still wasn’t what I paid for my frosty because the frost was $1.59. TONIGHT WAS THE LAST NIGHT THAT I SENT MONEY AT THIS LOCATION AND I HIGHLY RECOMMEND OTHERS TO FOLLOW ME! I WILL BE TAKING MY BUSINESS TO MCDONALDS OR BURGER KING! I STOPPED HERE BECAUSE MY WIFE WANTED A GRILLED AWESOME BACON CHICKEN SANDWICH, SMALL FRIES AND A VANILLA FROSTY THAT I PAID $8.00 FOR. THE NIGHT MANAGER TOOK MY ORDER TALKING ABOUT A MANAGER THAT DON'T CARE ABOUT CUSTOMER SERVICE!!! SHE DIDN'T GIVE ME A RECEPIT ONLY GOD KNOW WHAT SHE DID WITH THE CASH PAYMENT THAT I GAVE HER! Considering that I have been to many Wendy's before. I give this a 3 star due to the service. Upon driving up the drive thru. There was no cars ahead and no line. I waited at the speaker for about 2 minutes before thinking that the Wendy's might be closed. But then some one spoke thru. They took my order, I payed and got my food. The fries had to much salt. Besides that all our orders where made as we asked. Pretty decent. Just carefull with the salt on the fries.

I have been at this Wendy’s a few times and the food has always met expectations. I really enjoyed their baconator fries (way better than the McDonalds fries w bacon) and the service at this location has been pretty good too. The only negative is the weird in/out access points via motor vehicle and a crowded parking lot. Keep up the good...
