We dined here twice this week. Monday they turned over their menus, the personal pizza was huge and delicious and the drinks were fantastic. The outdoor seating is amazing and the music was great. So we decided to go back today (Friday)... It was horrendous to say the least. The personal pizza had gone down in size from 10-12" to 6-8" (over the span of four days). Might we add there was a wood chip in the pizza. Disgusting! There was no resolution to this occurrence, "it's a wood burning fireplace". The elote size had decreased in portion with an increase in price. The sweet waitress asked if we wanted to upgrade our drinks to the "big size". Of course we said yes and $8 later were left unsatisfied with the bill price. If you are asked if you want to add honey, ranch, or chipotle ranch to pizza.... Just know it will cost you $2.50 each for the smallest portion size less than 1 oz!! Needless to say we were left unsatisfied with the visit and $40 bill for lunch and long term customers will not be returning again. :(

Went there today with some friends who came into town for the Palisade Peach Festival. The atmosphere was fabulous, with both an inside and outdoor seating area. There was a water mister, on the patio, that kept everyone nice and cool. They offered several unique flights of different liquors, including Tequila, Brandy and Bourbon. Each one was unique and interesting. My taco bowl was ok but a little bland. It had a generous portion of avocado that was fresh and delicious. The chicken was amazing, and I could tell it had been smoked before it was grilled. We also had some kind of pita bread dish, that I'm very sorry but I can't remember the name of. It had a honey and vinaigrette sauce and was so insanely delicious we ended up ordering the second one. After we ate the second one, we debated on getting a third but decided we were full enough. I highly recommend this place and predict it will turn into one of Western Colorado's hidden gems!

Great food friendly staff and very chill environment. My only negative was the flies hovering around the tables on the outdoor patio, which i understand can not be controlled. Food wise, i highly suggest the beer cheese and pretzels and pizza. The pulled pork bowls were descent a little heavy on the acv bbq sauce but still palatable. The Pork Belly bowl had flavor but would have been an awesome dish if it was a bit more on the crispy side. Drinks were good, refreshing since the day had a high of 89 with little to no wind. The Orchard Sunset was pretty smooth, and my hubby tried the Whisky Mule, which i actually preferred over my choice. Note that there is also a winery and brewery within walking distance. Lastly, the patio is dog friendly, which was nice.

So I really hate giving businesses low ratings and am typically very forgiving/understanding but with this one I sadly have to make an exception. I went in last night after a hike in the area to grab a drink. I'm from out of town so first thing I ask the woman bartending is if they serve beer there because I was craving a cold one after exhausting myself in the heat. Immediately I get attitude. She laughs and says "Um NO.. this is a distillery." I respond by saying "Okay, I'm sorry I just wasn't sure, this is my first time here." She didn't seem to like that. She proceeds to help another customer and then comes back and asks what I want. As I stated, since I am not from the area and have never been there I simply ask what is popular on the menu. She apparently didn't like that either and responded by literally saying "Calm down, I'm not going to just tell you things, you need to tell me what kind of drinks you like or I can't help you." At this point I'm beside myself. How someone could be so rude to a person being so nice, literally for no reason. Like saying "calm down" to someone that is not hyped up at all is ridiculous. She clearly lacks humility and could certainly use training in how to talk to customers. Finally, after just choosing something random so I didn't have to deal with her anymore she made my drink along with another customers (purposefully gave me the one with much less liquid in it) and asked for payment. Long story short my wife dropped my wallet over the past weekend in Denver and someone stole my credit and debit cards so I had my wife's CC with me... As you could probably guess she came back saying I can't use it and therefore couldn't have the drink. I was obviously not thrilled but that was really just the icing on the cake. I calmly explained the situation but said if that's their policy I'll respect it and started to walk out. As I left she said, "thanks for the attitude!" I was in shock. How someone could do a job like that and be so rude is beyond me. To be fair, it's a cool place but your employees unfortunately reflect how people perceive your business and in this case, the employee completely eliminated any chance of me enjoying my time there. Just would hate to have an employee working for me that scares people away rather than...

We had one of the worst dining experiences here last night. From the moment we sat down, things were off. The waitress immediately told us the restaurant is under new ownership and to “come back in two months” because the menu and management would be better by then—not exactly a confidence booster. She seemed completely out of it—wouldn’t take our drink orders until we prompted her, then explained she was “fried” from taking a final earlier that day. While I can empathize with being tired, it didn’t excuse the complete lack of attentiveness that followed.

Our table had two people with dietary restrictions—one with a gluten allergy, the other with an onion allergy. She claimed she would check with the kitchen but never followed up or reassured us that our concerns were being handled.

We ordered an appetizer that never came. After a 45-minute disappearance, she returned and said the kitchen never got the ticket because her “printer broke.” When we then asked to order food, she acted surprised and said, “Oh, I thought you weren’t going to eat since I told you the restaurant’s not great.” Seriously?

When our food finally arrived, the gluten-free order came with a regular bun. The food runner flat out told us it wasn’t marked gluten-free, and that they don’t even have gluten-free buns. This is not a minor mistake—it’s a serious health risk.

She also put another table’s order on our ticket and we had to correct her on what we ordered and she said I’m so confused. We said we wanted an itemized receipt and she acted flustered on us asking this but we kept getting food delivered that we didn’t order so we knew she had messed up our ticket.

The server eventually returned again with another excuse: she was experiencing low blood sugar. Between the string of excuses, the forgotten items, the allergy mishaps, and the sheer lack of professionalism, we left deeply disappointed and concerned for anyone else dining here in the meantime.

Until they’re actually under new ownership and have a functioning, competent...

Came on vacation to Palisade for a week to visit my dad. Brought my wife, son, & in laws. Came here on Friday May 9th with just my wife and son and had a wonderful experience and the server from Gettysburg Pennsylvania that was waiting on us was fantastic. Thought I’d bring my in laws back here for our very last experience before we leave town to head back to Los Angeles and what a mistake that was. We came inside and an employee acknowledged us and sat us at a table outside at 4:30 pm. By 5:00 no one had came up to help us or take our drink orders. By 5:15 we finally got 2 of our 4 drink orders. By 5:20 we got our other drink orders. We ordered the tapenade flat bread appetizer but they told us their tapenade and bread appetizer was not available although it was the same ingredients as the tapenade flat bread appetizer we got. I questioned that to an employee and he went to see why that was and came back and said they actually did have the tapenade and bread appetizer. By that point we didn’t want it anymore. We then ordered two orders of tacos to go. 30 minutes passed and we were eager to leave but hadn’t received our to go tacos yet. Once again I had to go chase down an employee to ask where our to go order was. They brought it out and it was cold and weren’t the tacos we ordered. I then asked if we could split the bill between my father in law and I down the middle and the server said that he wasn’t able to do that on his POS system. Funny thing is I use the same POS system for my business and it is possible. I felt very embarrassed to have highly recommended this place to my in laws and bring them here for their last experience in palisade. On my next visit back to palisade I will make sure to avoid this place. Mind you, this place was dead when we were here and was no excuse for the wait we had to deal with. My recommendation is to fire everyone except the guy from...
