Karaoke here was the best experience my friends and I have had together! The first thing we loved was that there was a parking lot on the side so we didn't have to worry about street parking. The room was very nice, it felt high-end and well decorated. It was also super well equipped despite being the smallest (only 3 of us), with plenty of seating, table space, a mic stand, and 2 nice TVs for karaoke-ing. Everything at Rock 21 was very clean (which was important to us and we were beyond happy with how clean it was) and singing through masks and mic protectors was still very easy, the mics picked up everything! The huge selection of songs was amazing, I was surprised by the obscure songs I was able to find! There were even very recent songs added and so many options in Korean, English, Japanese (plenty of anime openings and endings for anime lovers out there), Chinese, and many more. The staff was also extremely friendly and helpful and walked us through the search program and everything. The food was also so fresh, very hot, and super tasty! We loved everything we tried (particularly the garlic soy sauce chicken, fried chicken, and the fried dumplings). The lady who works as the event coordinator there was so sweet, kind and so very friendly to us, she even extended our time since we were the only people there. The rate for the room was also very fair, especially for the high quality experience you get to enjoy! We will definitely...
Read moreTHEY WERE RUSHING US TO LEAVE!!! We were there from 5:45 and on our 3rd hour, we wanted to add a 4th hour and they said okay but then we noticed out time on the screen was cut short. So I went to ask and the lady said it’s because our room was reserved already for the next hour. I don’t understand why because when we called earlier that day to reserve a room for my bachelorette party, she said no need for reservations. It was first come first serve. So we went early and we were expecting to stay longer but they rushed us to leave. I don’t get it because we were paying customers anyway. It was a bachelorette party and they ruined it. I love singing karaoke and we went there early to make sure we have a room but I was so disappointed that they rushed us to leave! I had to chug my cocktail because they actually came in the room with the check and cleaning stuff just to make sure we were leaving!! The only nice person there was the korean guy who was very accommodating to us. I forgot his name. If not for him, I would give this place zero stars. Anyway, they have a variety of korean songs but not a lot of international songs. The remote is also in korean but they have a translation board for it. It was actually fun until the lady host took over the reception. So just beware… they can adjust your time depending on how they want it. It’s not up to you even if you’re a paying customer....
Read moreAfter reading the reviews, I was initially on the fence about going here, but after making the decision to go, my wife and I will ABSOLUTELY be coming back. The whole experience was totally phenomenal from start to finish.
To start off, I recommend any groups (large or small) come early which means close to them opening to guarantee yourself a room because this place gets BUSY! The place and rooms looks extremely new and everything is insanely clean with staff masking. The rooms are private rooms, mostly soundproofed as well.
The staff was super helpful in making sure we knew how to use the Karaoke system in the room (which is almost fully in Korean, but has almost every song you can imagine new and old, also don’t forget to mash the applause button) and with any other questions we had. There was a phone in the room where you can order food, drinks, or ask for more time (which is displayed in the top corner of the screen if you were wondering how much time you had left). We ended up staying for several hours singing our hearts out with awesomely quick turnaround anytime we ordered anything. And if you were wondering whether the food was good, it’s totally delicious, we went with the pork bulgogi, fried shrimp, and fried chicken. All awesomely delicious and filling. Overall, we spent about 4 hours there and we look forward to...
