I usually love this place, but then I had only ever ordered their pizza's twice. Today we decided to order subs from our office. My husband got the Steak and Cheese w/ fries and my son got the meatball sub w/ fries and both said they were good. However, I ordered a Turkey sub with no onion....I can not under no circumstances eat onions because they make me physically ill. It isn't that I don't like them cause I do but I simply can not eat them with out getting ill. My sandwich arrived with Onion on it and not just some, but it looked as if they put extra onion on it. The sandwich was dry, no mayo, no mustard...just meat, cheese lettuce, tomato and bread. Who eats a dry turkey sandwich?I ended up throwing my sub away. We also asked for Ketchup for our fries because we were ordering from our business and keep no condiments here and I explained that to the girl taking my order. She even asked me the name of our business. No ketchup..... Maybe if the girl would have stopped putting me on hold she would have gotten our order right and maybe offered condiments for my sandwich....That would have been awesome...
Read moreI have worked for this company since I was 16 years old and it was spelled Pherrara's with an "F." Over the past 6 years that I have worked for this company, the owners have always bent over backwards for their customers AND their employees. "School comes first," they told me in high school and even say it now that I'm in college. I love the atmosphere of working here--we're family, even our regular customers feel like family. In fact, I planned my wedding to be on a Sunday so that my Pherrara's family could attend without needing to close (the store is already closed on Sundays). The owners really care about their customers' experiences, opinions, and treatment and care the same for their employees. You won't regret making this store and it's employees a regular experience. You'll be supporting some truly amazing people as well as filling your tummies with mindblowingly amazing, fresh food, which...
Read moreI can't believe that after all this time, I'm only just now giving my "seal of approval" to Pherrara's. I've been a long time customer, like back to the days when they were located off of Palm Bay Road and Minton and the current Malabar Road location was still Soprano's (El Greco's, if you can remember that!).
I personally have only had the pizza and the garlic knots, as is my order for practically every pizza place. But hell, that is all I need - good pizza to keep me returning. It also helps that they have a very generous and long standing deal on the 16" pies on Monday & Tuesday. However, I ultimately am most appreciative of just being able to have great pizza less than 5 miles away from home. I'm a New Yorker that is always in search of a taste from home. Pherrara's gives me that.
A+ on the taste. A+ on delivery times, they are always faster than quoted. A+ on...
