Went for a Saturday lunch with family. Arrived at 11:25am with a reservation for 11:45am for six. We had to wait at the hostess station for well over 7 minutes while no one was around (mind you they opened at 11:00am). with the phone lines were ringing off the hook. We decided to wait at the bar for the rest of our group to arrive and sat there another 5-7 minutes waiting for someone to acknowledge us in some way. Standing in the far left corner of the restaurant were all the staff lined up against the wall with the manager walking up and down talking. Looked like roll call in the Army with a stern lecture. The staff saw us standing at the hostess station. They also saw us and others waiting at the bar. Only until I went into the restaurant stating that there were people that needed service, did the manager turn around and say get to work. Now, mind you I understand the need for a staff meeting. But, to hold it 30-35 minutes after you have opened, with customers sitting waiting and customers waiting to be seated is not the appropriate time. The hostess was lovely in trying to explain the situation and apologized profusely for this. Explained to her that we don't blame the staff because of the manager's bad decision. Once seated, the service was impeccable. The food, however, was nothing to write home about. There was nothing great and/or over the top about all the dishes, sides and appetizers we had. And for what the final bill came too, this was first and last time I will ever see the inside of...

The door hostesses (ironically, the first and last impression that the customer experience) are mostly arrogant, unwelcoming, rude, don't seem to have the basic hospitality training, unprofessional and unfriendly. Poor hiring or poor job training or both. Being the 1st & last point of contact at the door, you would think that they greet and welcome you first! I have been going to this restaurant for over 10 years and enjoyed the food, service and ambiance but the door remains to be a challenge! The manager Tamy is a hands on manager and does a commendable job in my opinion. Need to select and train her hostesses about the importance of customer service.

The following was the talk with the hostess: I greeted her and she did not answer. I wanted to make reservation for 2 for a special occasion. She said they don't take reservations. Due to the demand and I fully understand as I am in the business. I saw the manager on the door but she was busy. The hostess said, she will tell you the same thing. I said thank you, don't worry, I will go elsewhere and she said PERFECT! I called Tamy and she apologized for the poor conduct of that misfitted employee on the door. But she did not offer any personal assistance. she trained them or may be not. In my opinion, the hostess is a liability to the business and I truly think that the management need to do a better job training these hyper ignorant door staff. The food and service are always...

My dining experience at this establishment was extremely disappointing and saddening to say the least. I frequented the Bricktop’s in Corral Gables when it was open years ago so, my friends and I decided to take a drive up to Palm Beach. From the moment we walked in, we felt unwelcome. We weren’t aware that there were in fact two different restaurants in the same area and we’re confused as to why this particular restaurant wasn’t on the water. We asked the hostess if they had moved locations and instead of letting us know that there was in fact another Bricktop’s restaurant with a different name near by, she just said no and continued walking to our table. Our server was also extremely short and pushy with us. He would ask us a question and then walk away before we even had time to think about our answer and whether or not we needed anything. He seemed to no wish to speak to us very much and also, failed to pack my friends sides To-go (which included an entire untouched baked potato). Another employee even commented to my guest about how she’d eaten all of her food which was very rude and unprofessional. I felt more hospitality from the valet and I believe that is absolutely ridiculous. All in all I’ve concluded that I will never return to this...

Genuinely the best steak I’ve had in my entire life! Incredible pairing with the loaded baked potato! Our server was very nice and helpful, but I did have to ask for more water a couple times. We started off with the tuna tartare which was delicious. I got the steak frites and my girlfriend got the filet mignon. Incredible. The dessert was delicious as well, a cookie skillet with ice cream and caramel drizzle! The only thing I was disappointed in, was the fact that they forgot to bring out the dessert with a candle for my girlfriend’s birthday! I wrote it in our reservation notes, and asked it to be a surprise with our dessert. But nonetheless, it was an incredible experience and I will absolutely be returning!

I had family in town visiting from Baltimore. Bricktops has a great atmosphere along with a strong menu with seafood, steaks, and comfort foods. Everything they do, they do well. We ordered the Prime Rib, amazing, the filet, incredible, and the crabcakes are out of this world. Everyone was impressed with the crabcake, of which we have a high standard being from Maryland. It's full of lump crab meat. Big giant lumps are lightly held together with absolutely no filler. These aren't Florida Crabcakes. I highly recommend this restaurant. It has something for everyone, and while it was not cheap, it's not crazy expensive. Service and atmosphere were phenomenal. It is truly a gem on Palm Beach Island.

BrickTop’s has a beautiful atmosphere and a great location in Palm Beach. The friendly valet team and welcoming hostesses always make a great first impression. Unfortunately, the food and service don’t quite match the ambiance. On our last visit for the Kentucky Derby, our appetizer and main course arrived at the same time, and the waiter gave off the impression that he was doing us a favor by serving us. The experience felt disorganized and inattentive. The menu has potential, and the setting is lovely, but overall, the food and service haven’t lived up to the standard you’d expect in this area. With more consistency and attention to detail, it could be a much better experience.
