Bruster's Real Ice Cream — Restaurant in Palm Coast

Palm Coast Bruster's is my favorite place to get ice cream. I managed 3 of the Top 10 Baskin-Robbins stores in Illinois for 8 years and I will not go to the Palm Coast Baskin-Robbins store, which by the way, is caddy corner to Bruster's. I've Never seen a properly trained staff member in 4 years: the ice cream is not kept to proper temp, it is gummy on the tub sides because they do not keep them scraped down, ice crystals are always present because their cases are not kept maintained. Not one time have I ever had a round scoop and I'm tired of being ignored when I get to the counter. Bruster's customers will never encounter these moderate deficiencies! They acknowledge your presence, are kind and funny, always ready to give you a taste spoon and their ice cream is cared for! Bruster's has a website, has a rewards propram and has great staff that is trained and happy to work there. We can call in a special order and they will try their best to create your preference, which for us is vanilla layered with hot fudge 3x of the layers. Yummy! I can tell you the ice cream is good here, however, I will NOT be back to Bruesters ever again. I will drive to Flagler beach ice cream shops and will never give Bruesters any business as neither will our friends. My husband bought a birthday cake for me and asked Bruesters for ALL vanilla and Oreos in the middle. Well we go to have the cake on my birthday, which I had to throw out. Because we received a cake with All chocolate ice cream and Oreos in the middle, NO JOKE🤦‍♀️. I DO NOT UNDERSTAND WHAT THE PART OF ALL VANILLA ICE CREAM THEY DID NOT GET. They will NOT allow me to pick up a new cake since we had a piece. They are willing to give me half off my next cake. Well, that is the most horrible service I have ever received, SO I HAD NO BIRTHDAY CAKE. There were only 2 little slices cut since I do NOT eat choc ice cream. When I was told by one worker yesterday to pick up another cake today at 11 and then another worker tells me the OWNER SAID, they will not make another for me…BAD CUSTOMER SERVICE. I have been searching for Black Raspberry ice cream for over 15 years when low and behold I found this awesome ice cream place that makes it homemade! 😍 It's an hour away from me but I don't even care, I will put my cooler in the car and drive there anytime I get a craving! 😂 It's soooooo good! I'm in the area often because I have clients there which is how I found them in the first place. The owner and staff were so nice and accommodating, I ordered one half gallon last Friday and they called me to tell me it was ready on Sunday, I asked them if they could add another half gallon to my order and that I'd be there to get it on Wednesday.
