Not good. You can feel the apathy of those who work there (something is wrong operationally there). Had to send back what was in the photo attached. Before I could have this made again I had to explain in great detail why it was not good while being told it's their signature dish. See the photo. THIS is their signature dish? The questions were so defensive as if he needed to make sure I was not wrong about my opinion of their bad first try. Pro Tip - don't do that to people. I could have been offered something different... Nope... Could have just trusted me that it was bad... Nope... Half a dozen questions about their signature dish and how the person who asked the questions stated he used to be a chef there. When I asked back if he made it and he said no, I said you can't guarantee someone else's work. I think that got him to finally listen. Anyway the manager showed concern after seeing the difference between what I first received and what was redone. He saw the difference between the two. It was an Anniversary Dinner and I really didn't want to have go through a deposition to get my $25 entre (look at the pic... $25 bucks for that) to taste right with proper texture that a meal like this should have. We skipped dessert since the meal was shot. I just don't understand why and when people just stopped caring about doing the best job they can and being combative when someone who points out (politely) something isn't right about their meal. Going out to dinner has no value anymore if you have to put up with cruddy service and blah food.

it was absolutely spectacular just stuffed mushrooms of ever had anywhere and I've been eating stuffed mushrooms for a very long excellent service very friendly and prompt and make sure that everything was great come back and checked on us to make sure that the food was to our liking thank you Patrick with the beard Still a very spectacular place to eat. This restaurant is definitely hands-down the best Carabbas I’ve ever eaten at. From the moment when I walked in the door the gentleman that sent me made sure that the table was clean before he even took me to the table. The food was absolutely amazing. From the asparagus to the fried shrimp on the side literally asparagus was perfect. Really like even down to the person that helps clean tables along with waitresses and waiters, as I was sitting here both of them made sure that things were cleared off my table. The waiter I had was name Nick’s.

Pretty decent as far as chains go - and hard to go wrong with their current $45 Dinner & Dolce special - 2 soups/salads, entrees and a dessert to share. Soup/salads: minestrone, house creamy Parmesan salad Entrees: Tuscan grilled sirloin, spaghetti with bolognese Dessert: Sogno di cioccolata We also had a fried calamari (complimentary for signing up for emails) - the sauces were really good - that creamy one was very unique) We’ll go back to try other dishes if we’re looking for something pretty cheap and casual. The service wasn’t great, but my expectations are never high with chains… still, the waitstaff were subpar. There was one guy who I think was a manager but was very active who had a great attitude that he seemed to hope would rub off on the others, but it didn’t seem to.

Update: 01/14/2025

Manager searched me out to find out what went wrong with our experience & genuinely wanted to know issues we had & apologized many times & went above & beyond to do everything to make things right… I’ve updated my starts from 1 to reflect the effort & experience in the aftermath of our bad experience.

Took my family here tonight for my daughter’s birthday dinner as it was her choice.

Walked in to find no host, waited roughly 7-8 minutes a waitress walked by asked if we’d been helped & we said no, she said ok & then took us to be seated.

When than set seated for roughly 15+ minutes with zero interaction with any staff in any way, waitress finally arrived & was taking our drink & appetizer order suddenly stopped taking our order & walked off for 3-4 minutes then came back like nothing happened with zero response that she’d even left or explanation lol….. she took our complete order after that.

Food comes out 4 of the 5 dishes ordered were wrong dishes ordered & no salads were ever delivered to the table though they were ordered & charged to us all 5 dishes were cold, not even room temperature cold, in the fridge cold & chicken on 2 of the meals not cooked properly!

Waitress could care less once we found her to address it, zero concern & honestly acted as if it was a normal thing to her that food was not cooked & cold, she did take off one meal & offered our salads we never got to go… we refused as we came to eat dinner at the restaurant not at home…. $85.00 for some bread & sodas basically!

Never once seen a manager, never once did a manager come to the table & in my experience if a meal is taken off a ticket a manager hast to do so & if a meal’s been taken off for any reason that would be a concern as a manager to want to go address any issues with the customers in my opinion…

We will NEVER be back & I see that in any bad review they are asking for people to reach out to make things better lol NO WAY!!!

You had your chance I wish I could get a negative star review,...

First, we really like Carrabas. It's our go to place when we can't decide and the one in Melbourne very rarely disappoints. This was our first visit to the Palm Coast location as we were traveling. Maybe the half empty restaurant on a Saturday night at 7PM should have been a clue, but we were hungry. The hostess who clearly was more interested in her phone than listening when said I wanted a booth...again the resturant was no where near full with lots of empty tables. Thankfully someone else walked over and was able to pick a booth out of the several that were clearly empty. Our waiter was very nice, kind but did not appear to be an experienced or an efficient waiter. After taking our drink order we waited about 15 minutes for the drinks to arrive and we were almost done with the meal before we would see refills. What elevated the frustration is there were four other staff members standing five feet from out table with apparently nothing to do except chat with each other. We had to track him down through another staff member who was walking by. We ordered the stuff mushrooms which we usually order and we were very disappointed. They were very small, with little stuffing and sauce. The salad had several pieces of brown lettuce. Thankfully the entrees were fine. At the end we were given the wrong check. Just overall disappointing experience. My hope this is just an isolated incident. This waiter could use some training but I won't post his name here.

Update: I recieved a call from Keith, who also conveyed his disappointment with our experience. He was sympathetic to my concerns and he would use this as a training with his staff. I am hopefull based on our conversation the next time we visit our favorite Italian chain, our experience will be much improved. Thank you Keith for...

I have gone here a handful of times and I absolutely love it! I get the same dish every time because it’s AMAZING EVERY TIME! I’ve always had a wonderful experience up until now. I went with my two small kids and a friend of mine and it left me not wanting to go back at all. My server was named Amy L. and it seemed to be an okay experience until I filled out the bill. My kids were getting antsy and just wasn’t a good evening with them being tired etc. that’s besides the point. So I was paying the bill and put cash down for it and put the rest of it on card. Well when I went to do the tip I did it on my Apple Watch with the amount I got back on the receipt. Not paying to much attention I didn’t realize it was the amount that was left that I was paying card with so it wasn’t the full bill. I calculated the amount with my watch because like I said my kids were antsy and my daughter needed to go to the bathroom. So I paid and went to the bathroom and as soon as my daughter sits down I hear my server come in the bathroom and I look through the stall door and make sure it’s her. She starts going off and complaining that she should have got more of a tip and I realized she was talking about me. I walk out of the bathroom and she’s standing right there at the bar with a nasty smirk like wanted to make sure I heard her. Then upon leaving she made another comment to me but it didn’t end there. I go out to my car with my kids and see her again outside standing there looking at me as I put my kids in the car. Now did I miscalculate my tip yes I did. But for her to go to those lengths is absolutely ridiculous. Really unfortunate that my experience went this bad because I absolutely...
