Sometimes there is a disconnect between to person who pulls the paper receipt and makes your coffee and the person at the counter to handles the pastries, donuts and food items. They really need to get a handle on this aspect of ordering. It gets frustrating for everyone. If you are not in a rush, this is a nice leisurely location. Otherwise, go to the shop on 100/Moody. They are amazingly fast and less slip ups. One woman waited for 2 donuts for 15 minutes. When we finally got an employee, she pulled the donuts but the woman told her that she ordered a different donut. Employee angrily throws the entire donut in the trash and asks again what she wanted. We were both caught by surprised at her behavior. We were the kind and patient ones yet we did nothing to deserve that kind of response. The elderly lady took her order then I asked for mine. There was a line forming of missed food items. Folks were getting drinks but not the food from their tickets. The biggest disgust though are the weird floral arrangements that are collecting dust and are hanging above the food below... the donut cases do not have a door. Pretty sure that shouldn't be hanging above food items. The plus side..his location happens to have some of the most adorable Dunkin tumblers, reusable metal straws, elf on the shelf ornaments and more. Place is clean, has all kind of seating and areas for talk, studying and hanging out. The only thing we do not care for are the flowery decor that catches dust placed right above the open food area. They have flower decor hanging on both sides of the menu above the donuts. It just makes us not want to order donuts. The seating outdoors is really nice and shaded as well. We love how spacious it is indoors and outdoors for guests. This is a combo establishment so get your donuts, coffee and your ice cream fix here as well. They have the most adorable seasonal ice cream cakes by Baskins and a million style candles to adorn your cake. We are completely done at this location after 4 orders in a row were incomplete. We just don't have the time or patience for the mishaps and...
Read moreThe service is usually pretty decent sometimes it can be a bit impatient but given a situation that it's extremely always busy and I'm sure everybody's kind of stressed in the back I can understand.
I will always go to the Dunkin' donuts cuz it is good food but ..
for some reason.... and my only opinion... sometimes the donuts don't quite taste as fresh and if you order the sausage egg and cheese on a croissant I hope they tried to keep the croissant a little bit more moist if it's toasted then obviously you can't help that it's toasted but it's nice to kind of keep it moist if it's not toasted to some degree...
in my own opinion... also when you're giving a tip to them I've noticed that quite often they just take it without really just saying thank you! every once in awhile they'll say ,, ( aw , thank you. ) but I have noticed quite often that they just take the tip money. it would be nice if at least they could acknowledge,, a little bit more ,,,
that you giving them a tip I'm just saying in my own opinion again.
I believe people do try to work hard in general and whatever job they are in and when you're giving up a tip that's part of your sacrifice! ( that could have gone to a little bit more gas a little bit more groceries a little bit more something for you ) but you are sacrificing ,
whether it's a dollar or two or a five you're giving it to another person to show thank you for their hard work and to know that they're kind of in a similar spot that they also might need money as well. I believe in paying it forward as best as you can! and trying to treat people...
Read moreHate to post a review like this but if i don’t it will keep happening. Since this is a second time , i prefer that the management is to choose how to address this. Visited in the fall, coffee being served with no gloves while the employee is holding the lid ( where i’m going to put my mouth) with her bare hands. Eew. Refused and gave it back. Visited just now with my son , Tuesday 01/16 /2024 at 2:30 pm. Asked for 2 pints ( pre packed ) at $13.99 for both . Without telling me they are out of stock, the employee starts filling up the two pints. Guess what? NO GLOVES. come on. I don’t know where your hands been at , that’s disgusting. You are dipping deep in the ice cream bin with a scooper that you just dipped halfway w your gloveless hand ?!!! This is food. What if you used the bathroom or smoked ? I asked him to put gloves on. The other guy ( with gloves) filled up the pints and when checking out , i was told it’s $24 something. I asked why. He said it’s because they didn’t have the pre filled ones in flavors i wanted. Ok , but why didn’t you tell me ?!!! If you would have told me i might have went the other route and ordered something else. And let’s say i refused ? Then you just wasted $24 worth of icecream of the employers. But i guess it’s ok since it’s not yours. Please train these people better. Please. It’s a health hazard. Not...
