The Jacked Up Bean — Restaurant in Palm Coast

I visited here today. I’m a native Californian and I’m used to being able to go to a dozen different coffee shops. Mainly Dutch bros. The nearest Dutch bros is by Tennessee. Which is very sad for me. That being said I think this place is the closest thing I’ve gotten to Dutch bros. They don’t have my favorite banana and coconut mocha here. But I’m sure they’d be willing to make it if I asked. The owners are very knowledgeable and kind. The bagels are so good. I haven’t been able to find a fresh bagel since I’ve been here. The coffee was great. I personally had the pumpkin pie latte and I took a s’mores latte to go. They use torani syrup for their flavors. So good. I’ll be returning to this place over Starbucks whenever I can. Friendly employees and a cozy feel. Great decor and prices were fair, not insanely marked up like other chain shops. I like that their baked goods and items were from other local spots to support local. BIG fan of that!

However, rather unimpressed with items. Bagel was about as good as a frozen Lender’s bagel. Latte way too sweet. Cream cheese rather than putting on bagel was in packages which was rather inconvenient. I also really needed a space to work and they had NO PUBLIC WIFI. Why be a coffee shop with no wifi for customers?

I do wish them success and would try again next time I’m in town, bc I believe everyone deserves a second chance. Change is a constant part of business, I’m sure they’ll iron out kinks. Best of...

I ordered the white chocolate mocha I believe.. Sorry I didn't take a picture of it but it was very beautiful looking like the Sistine chapel 😉. Then I ordered the ham and havarti cheese croissant very fresh and tasty I also had the Cherry Danish also very fresh and tasty. the owner and helper take total pride in making their drinks and food; as you can tell by the pictures that I do have,, it is an art of deliciousness!!
