I called to place an order for a large size pizza to go. However, a woman on the phone retorted that they have only small sizes and offered to get two pizzas. Thank God that I haven't followed her terrible advice and got only one pizza with salami. It was the worst pizza in my life. First of all, their small size of pizza is used to be called a small pizza bread with previous owners. Second, it was very SPICY, either their pizza sauce or salami. I had gastric surgery and was not allowed by my doctor to eat spicy food. In this establishment, no one warned me that their pizzas are super-duper spicy. Lastly, after my first bite, my mouth started to burn 🔥 and I wasn't able to swallow it. As a result, their pizza went straight into a trashcan. What a waist of money, time, and health (I may would end up in the emergency room if I'd swallow it). See the pictures that their employees don't wear gloves, their hair not in ponytail, and towel was on the floor. In conclusion, I'd rather go to a Little Caesars Pizza. Their Detroit style pies are way better. Their kitchen is a lot cleaner, it's not spicy or flaming hot, and their prices are twice cheaper than at...
Read moreThe pizza dough is similar to a focaccia dough. It lacked flavor in the crust. I ordered a fennel sausage, onion, mushroom with basil with a side of ranch. They forgot the basil entirely as well as the side of ranch until I mentioned both to the waitress. The pizza sauce had a good tomato flavor but lacked depth in the seasonings as I like my sauce with a garlic flavor which most pizza establishments add as their norm. The limited mushrooms would equate to one in total for the whole pizza. Skimpy toppings, missed ingredients make it a miss for me. I would try them again but not at this price point of $24 for a pizza that tasted more like bread topped with minimal toppings. I brought home 3 slices and won't be eating them. I prefer not to write negative reviews but upon looking at the cost versus value, unfortunately it was a miss. I do hope they make some tweaks and perhaps change out their dough type or at least make it fresh daily. The young lady server is great, approachable,...
Read moreSaw this new pizza place and had to give it a try. It's been open just two weeks and my only mistake was not going in on the first week. The Detroit style pizza was absolutely over the top delicious. I landed on the Diavolo De Miele and wasn't disappointed. Excellent flavor, plenty of sauce and cheese, and a perfect combination of pepperoni with a touch spicy honey which I would never have thought of - but it was PERFECT !!! But the stars of my visit were the staff. I watched them make my pizza and they put so much love into what they did. Truly food artists with a lot of pride. Everyone was super friendly and I was comfortable striking up a conversation with the entire staff. Phaliph, Mo, Michelle and the rest were incredible. I will learn the rest of their names because I will be back...
