Jimmy John's — Restaurant in Palm Desert

I've never been before. I seen commercials and the sandwiches look good. So when I walked in I was looking at the menu and the girl was trying to take my order I told her give me a minute so I can take a look cuz I've never been. I feel like at this time she should have at least suggested some sandwiches or been more attentive but her and the sandwich maker just stood there looking at me just waiting for me to pick what I wanted so I f err let rushed. When I got my sandwich I noticed there was no cheese and looked on the board and seen it was an add-on if you wanted it, hence I think the cashier should have said something like "you never been here before so let me tell you that it doesn't come with cheese but it is an add-on" but no . This sandwich barely had any turkey in it 2 slices of bacon no cheese bread was on the hard side. I had a turkey and bacon sandwich my husband had a roast beef sandwich we got the combo basically it came up to $26 and not even close to worth that I could have went to Subway and got freaher bread and cheese a more meat. Long time Jimmie Johns customer and fan. Just moved here and ordered online for pick up. Showed up 20 minutes later thinking that should be plenty of time for “fast eats”. Nope, they hadn’t even started making my sandwich. They then told me they are making it now and that wasn’t true. Watched them make 12 more sandwiches after I showed up. They made delivery the priority and bumped my sandwich order to the back of the line. Someone actually came in after I showed up ordered and got their sandwich before me. Defeats the purpose of online ordering if you are going to show up and then wait behind people who just ordered. Why not just make the sandwiches in the order they are received? Their location is on my way to work and back and they just lost a weekly customer. Not sure what the problem is at this location. Recommend ordering delivery only if you choose this...

Tried the new sandwich at jimmy johns and OMG!!! Soooo yummy!!! Wow! Must try!! The employees were so helpful. I'm normally super picky plain eater but Sam convinced me to try the sandwich and I am so glad she did! I went out of my comfort zone and was so surprised!! And the owner (Brian) is just the coolest guy you will ever meet! He is so proud of his sandwiches and his business as a whole!
