It’s obvious that the French Corner is sensational because it is always busy, but what endorses its authenticity is the number of French people that go there on a regular basis. Run by a husband and wife team, the cafe has the energy of a family business that is beloved by its owners and cherished by its community. I went there on a breakfast date on Saturday, May 1, 202, and was very impressed by all of it. I know that I should have had something a little more representative of French cuisine, but they had corn beef hash on the menu which is something I can never resist. My friend (who happens to be French) ordered Crepe Maison which he allowed me to try. The Crepe Maison was unbelievably good, making me wish I would have ordered it myself. The menu is by no means limited so there is something that suits everyone’s taste. The cafe is very prideful of preparing dishes that are culturally authentic so the meals do take a little longer to prepare than other restaurants, but everything they make is well worth the wait. I need to watch my sugar intake so it was torture for me to look at the many delectable pastries at the counter which included eclairs, berry tarts, creme brulee, and macarons to name a few. They seemed to be aware of my dilemma (which is not uniquely mine) and have miniature creations of many of their treats including bite size eclairs. I greatly appreciated the miniature eclairs because I was allowed to indulge myself with a taste of the sinful cream filled, chocolate pastry without overdoing it. For a better idea of the mouthwatering delicacies in the glass showcase at the counter, visit their website which gives a broader view of what they have available. The French Corner does serve lunch and dinner as well, but remember that it is located in Palm Desert so summer hours are shorter because of the grueling heat that the Coachella Valley is known for. No French dinner would be complete without a lovely wine from France to accompany it and the cafe does not disappoint there either. The wine selection isn’t necessarily extensive, but everything on the wine list pairs nicely with their entrees. The vibe of the French Corner is very relaxed and comfortable so if you’ve always been curious about French cuisine or if you’re an expert, this is the place for you. In addition to its cute indoor dining area, the cafe also has a quaint patio that is nothing less than adorable. Prices are reasonable so it is a great place to take your family as well as a charming place to go on a romantic date. I would highly recommend this cafe to anyone who wants to sit back and enjoy good food in a delightful environment.

Absolutely marvelous cafe. Their coffee is incredible. Best iced mocha I ever had with real whipped cream! Heavenly! They sell all kinds of beautiful French gifts and items here, as well. The food is absolutely delicious; fresh and wonderful. I’m thrilled. Everyone in this cafe was so very nice and accommodating and extremely attentive to your needs. Their pastry and French desserts are outstanding and one of a kind fabulous; you can purchase these delectable desserts to take home. I feel like I went to Paris today and I’m so delighted I will be back very soon. Ample parking and you can sit outside, as well. Plenty of handicapped spaces are available. A must see delightful real French cafe! What a gem! ROSA makes the best ever iced mochas with real whipped cream! She is an amazing barista!

We have visited this Cafe 3 times in the past few years. So we never expected the service we received today. After waiting for 35 minutes for someone to take our order, my husband asked the man behind the cash register who was going to do this. The man promptly told him that they didn't want to take our order and disturb our conversation at our table of FOUR! We told him we had already told our drink server that we were ready to order. The man behind the register said, "Oh". Three minutes later our waitress appeared. After ordering we waited and waited for our food! 45 minutes!! I walked through the restaurant and noticed that 2 couples who were at the front door when we were waiting in line for a table. This couple was behind us and now they had already FINISHED their meal. I told them our situation and they were almost as angry as I was. Well, after eventually serving our meal the waitress then told us that they were unable to give any more drinks, no refills, nothing except a 4 ounce glass of water. So the Arnold Palmers we ordered could not be refilled. 4 ounces of water was our limit. So much for refillable drinks. At no time during this 2.5 hour visit did anyone offer concern for their delay of service. Today's visit was a real disappointment. Our salads were skimpy and my husband's seafood crepe was cold. Other patrons were amazed that this was happening. In planning for a pleasant lunch with out of town guests I had called the restaurant this morning at 8:15 to make a reservation, but was told they don't take reservations. in my opinion their service to many would be improved if they would change this policy. Perhaps this would help management give better service to...

I took my two friends for lunch in August 4 months and the waiter barely spoke english was hard to understand her and she was not nice maybe she was having a bad day or they were short staff. I ordered a meal I got a cappuccino, and a salad my friend got a lunch special sandwich salad fries and soda and the third person got soup and bread and fries and a cappuccino. When we received the bill was for $114.00 I had told her I think the price is wrong because this doesn't add up to the price on your menu I asked if she can bring a receipt to verify the prices she got really mad and made us wait a while and finally brought me a scribble order that she took which I didn't understand. She said she was going to fix receipt and adjust price she took my card and brought back receipt for my signature 3 days later I notice my charge on my account for $166.00 dollars from them. I have been calling and speaking to the bank and the restaurant the Owner is never available to talk nor return my calls and the Bank can't settle it because its only a partial amount needed to be refunded but the bank asked them to supply a receipt and signature of approval the bank sent it to me and what do you know she not only charged me wrong but gave herself a tip of $33.00 dollars and signed someone else name on the receipt not my signature. Bank told us to make a...
