Luscious Lorraine's — Restaurant in Palm Desert

I took my sister in law here because she is gluten allergic. She found several great options and was thrilled to see gluten free bread and wraps. She had the chicken salad and loved it. I had the chicken bhan mi which was fine. I bought a small tuna salad to go which I did not care for at all. However, I do think I would return and try different options. They did have some amazing smoothies on the menu which are worth a try. The only reason I gave service 3 stars is because we ordered at one register, then she moved us to the second register. Same thing for others. The two working the registers talked over each other and one would put something in the bag and the second gal would repeat the same thing and then one had to take an item back out of the bag. We ate at Luscious Lorraine's last weekend and it was amazing! My husband and I live in LA and were in Palm Desert for some fresh air during the LA fires when we discovered Luscious Lorraine's and it was just the food we were looking for! Every ingredient was so fresh and the food was made right before our eyes. The restaurant smelt so delicious! We had a variety of sandwiches including the Tuna sandwich and Turkey Chipotle and they were some of the best sandwiches we've had in a long time! It was also so sweet that the restaurant was offering complimentary juices to anyone that was in town because of the LA fires. We ended up ordering the Glow Up juice and it was fantastic! Went to this Cafe to have lunch and it was pretty packed and there was a line. This was a good sign, meaning people like this place. Ordered the Avo-Chili wrap and it was really good. It has a mix of lettuces, avocados, chilis, black bean hummus and an avo-tahini dressing, I might be missing some others, but it was really good. I choose the multigrain wrap instead of the Gluten free Brown rice wrap, the multigrain was pretty good. I also noticed that they make their own guacamole and other various salads that you can buy that are premade already. After so had my wrap I decided to get the Date Shake, which is Frozen Bananas, Local Dates, Almondmilk and Ice cubes. I like the fact that this Cafe uses locally grown produce.
