First of all, we came from LA and wanted a spot where we could have a nice breakfast. We wanted something more American, but noticed a diner nearby was way too busy and I had a hangry family. Definitely was a good thing for us. We found this restaurant within the same complex and the "Brunch" sign sold us! From the moment we walked in, greeted and seated immediately at a good social distance from other families. Our server was patient and kind (had three undecided kids with me) lol. The brunch menu had great selections. We ordered Chipotle chicken chilaquiles with scrambled egg white, egg sandwich, French toast and another item to include side orders of Applewood bacon and sausage. Food was delicious! No complaints! Server was very attentive and courteous. The restaurant decor was appealing and restrooms were very clean. Most definitely will be coming here on my next visit to Palm Desert. Wish I had a Solano's in LA! Thank you for making my experience...

My wife and I golfed in the afternoon and we were starving. After a quick check of restaurant Google reviews, we decided to try Solanos and boy are we glad we did. From the drinks to the entrees, we were delighted. Our server, bartender Roy, was fabulous. He mixed great Cas Amigos scratch margaritas. He then recommended the short ribs, which I had, and my wife ordered the beet salad. My wife was was very happy with her selection and my short ribs were a taste explosion. Maybe in my top two or three in my life, including grandma S's. I had the tiramisu for dessert and it was fantastic. The vibe was great. We couldn't be happier. In fact, we're coming back through Palm desert to go to the restaurant in a few days to try the linguine bolognese (the other Roy suggestion). I give this restaurant my highest recommendation. Sorry, we normally take pictures, but we're starving and dived in. Maybe...

We stayed a week in Palm Desert and dinner here was surely one of my favorite experiences. It is my understanding that the Chef-Owner creates a seasonal menu and from what I observed, he cares deeply about every aspect of his customers’ visit. The warm, authentic hospitality, Prosecco and Champagne available in splits (exquisite!), and meals prepared with such care and attention to detail (as a Chef I can tell ;) was all so very much appreciated. The handmade pappardelle with pesto was so delicious, it’s inspired me to make fresh pasta of my own more often! I asked our server for some bread to mop up the sauce and the fresh little rolls he offered with herb-topped butter were such a special touch that I couldn’t help but return my dish spotless! I saw a sign that was not prominently placed but I think ought to be - Prepared with Love. Thank you Chef and crew, for such a...

How do people come here, eat and then say it's great food?!?!? Just how?!?!? I seriously should have pictured my husband's raw chicken!!! It was still cold and BLOODY. Instead of remaking his whole meal, they just refried it, so it came back to us even worse; meat was rubbery and crispier. The boneless short ribs tasted like they came from a slow cooker🤮 that been sitting in their sauce all day since yesterday. My daughter got wings because they don't have a kids menu, the veggies that came with the wings were soggy- I can crispier celery and carrots sticks from Walmart 🙄. Nobody even came to our table to apologize for the raw chicken, we were not even offered a discount, nor were we offered dessert on the house. Avoid eating here at all cost, not worth the $100+ for a family of four (two adults and two children).

We love this restaurant and the staff! Paco is an incredible chef. Solanos is our go to for date nights, casual nights, and special occasions with family and friends. If we are headed to Acrisure for a show or a game- we eat at Solanos. The food is consistently delicious and the service is superb. Excellent selection of wines and the bar serves amazing cocktails. We enjoy the delicious specials- if he is serving sea bass- just order it —your welcome. Steaks are cooked to perfection, and the sea food is amazing…All plated beautifully. I love the scallops and shrimp and the blackened salmon. They are cooked perfectly every time. Butternut squash ravioli-delish! Love their salads: spinach and beets with goat cheese and the white bean arugula are my favorites. Paco will modify any dish for your needs as well.

The ambient if the place is nice. The bar is separate from the restaurant part and it is nicely decorated, although my wife thought it was strange that they had a screen showing pictures of the food. The food was up and down. My short ribs were nice: tender with a tasty sauce. The Salmon pasta and salads were all average. I thought the salmon was too sweet. The salads were meh. The steak had a nice sauce and sides, but came out closer to medium after we ordered it rare. That's pretty bad! The service was fine up to that point. My son decided to eat the steak , but I told the waiter and he just kind of shrugged his shoulders. All in all, we were not impressed.
