The Hood Bar and Pizzeria — Restaurant in Palm Desert

Posting this again because the owner took down my post. Women get drugged at The Hood Bar & Pizza constantly and no action has been taken, none ever, not even once. Ladies/gentlemen/anyone, if you decide go to The Hood Bar & Pizza for a drink just please, please be safe and DO NOT leave your drink anywhere-keep your drink in your hands and close to you at all times, I cannot stress this enough. I am not the only victim of this circumstance at this bar. I understand this can happen at any bar, but it seems to be quite the common occurrence at this one. It's terrifying... just very, very scary. Everyone please just be aware of your surroundings and stay safe if you decide to go to this bar.... I really don't understand how they're still open after the multiple health violations they receive every year (proof in public documentation) and especially the fact that plenty of people fall victim to being roofied at that place. So, I was quite skeptical about this place before coming here, but my boyfriend said from what he remembered it had a good atmosphere. Well let me tell you, it does! There’s pool tables, air hockey, and they even do free concerts. When we went on a Wednesday, it was happy from 2-7 pm. Their happy hour menu is insane! Insanely good that is. We got two huge slices of N.Y. style-pizza (some of them best pizza I’ve ever had if you want to know the truth), an order of wings (5pcs. Daytona-style [a mix of buffalo and bbq...AMAZING— the perfect mix of sweet and spicy] and they were cooked perfectly), and two cans of PBR and it was less than $20. I swear this place is the savior to this rather slow desert area lol. This is a very cool hip place that just feels like all your neighborhood buddies meet at for amazingly strong but reasonably priced drinks and amazing bar food! I just love it here! Sometimes they have stand up comedy, and other talents singing, rapping etc. you can shoot pool, play table hockey, sock the punching bag machine or just simply listen to some good tunes on the bartender’s playlist.
