I REALLY wanted to like this place. I've driven by it several times and my neighbor said good things. I am always looking for delicious artisan coffee places. Having lived in LA and now a full time resident of Palm Desert for the past 2.5 years I was bummed by the amount of Starbuck-type options. We are die-hard Varraco patrons but it's Saturday morning and Varraco was PACKED (obviously) Told my husband we're going to try a new place! 2 dirty chai lattes was our order (HOT) We waited patiently and they brought out ICED dirty chai lattes instead. OK, no prob, please remake! The young man/barista with long blonde hair (not tied up or pulled back) maybe didn't understand what a dirty chai is??? But he re-made the lattes so fast I couldn't believe it and I was skeptical. I grabbed them from the counter and they were barely even warm (first red flag) and as we were walking out i took my first sip and was horrified at how bad it tasted. Srsly. And i never like to say this but it literally made me stop in my tracks! Like warm dirty dish water!?! If you know what a dirty chai latte is, and you've had a good one before it should taste like a warm hug in a cup! So satisfying because of the chai spice, but also gives you that coffee jolt from the espresso shot. Then the coziness from the warm milk (hellooo latte!?!) This tasted like dish water. The most watery tasting coffee drink I've ever had that was neither HOT nor ICED, just room temp The chai was barely there, the espresso so watered down. I literally dumped it in the bush outside. There was a line inside and I knew taking the drinks back inside and asking for a refund would be another wait and frankly it just wasn't worth it. When you want (crave) that morning coffee you just need that fix. But I will have to think twice about going back. I think it's one of those cute vibe places that looks like it's straight outta Palm Springs...decorated with all the signs, and tile, and plants etc but I dont care about that stuff at all if the coffee is sub par. I've never spit a coffee drink out before. This was a first! And I know its a Saturday and wknd 2 Coachella but it was a big disappointment to spend $20-something dollars (+4% cc fee) on 2 very bad coffee drinks and a bacon donut. Truth be told, the donut was delicious but without coffee, it's meh....First impression would lead me to say pleeeeeease train your staff on the art of coffee making and how to make ALL the drinks. And when a customer says HOT (not iced) please make it hot. Not room temp, not barely warm, and not so watery you even wonder if there's any actual coffee in it!!!??? I already waited in a line to even put in my order, so don't RUSH to make a drink that was so obviously not made correctly ...make it worth...

The person working - I won't call them a "barista" or "server" because that would imply a level of service -- was unbelievably rude. From the second I walked in, their facial expression said it all: annoyance, disdain, and boredom all rolled into one. To make matters worse, my friend bought a drink specifically so we could use the restroom. I paid for it with my card - we were customers. And yet they said only he could use the bathroom?!? Instead of a simple "sorry" or any attempt at understanding, I was verbally scolded for holding an empty Starbucks cup. I was stunned. I wasn't asking for a free drink. I wasn't loitering. I just wanted to throw the cup away and use the restroom because I paid to do so--but even then, they removed the trash bin as I approached. It was humiliating and bizarre. There are plenty of amazing local spots where the staff actually want to be there and treat you like a human being. This is not one of them. I won't be back - and frankly, I'm...

From the moment you walk in, the atmosphere is pure magic – warm, welcoming, and filled with good vibes. The food here is an absolute masterpiece – not just in taste but in presentation.
