Aloha Shave Ice & Boba (Waffle, Musubi) — Restaurant in Palmdale

IMO 1 of the worst places to get your basic Thai Tea with Boba - my favorite drink that I've tried everywhere (Boba Cove, It's Boba Time, Restaurants, Donut Shops, etc.).

The Boba is genuinely incosistent and was absurdly questionable today, all due respect.

This is about my 3rd time giving the drink a try there today, I bit into metal shavings that were a part of the Boba along with what I assume was old crusty food? - enough to cause me tooth pain/damage and feel compelled to give this review. Very upsetting and will never bother to try another unsafe drink/food from a place that looks like they dont even clean the floors, etc. I support small businesses (but IMO they don't care much for the customer - what you see is what you get kind of attitude). Aside from that piece a good amount of the Boba was "undercooked"/old (I have no idea how to make Boba but I know it's supposed to be gummy all the way through).

The drink itself tastes nothing like how Thai Tea is supposed to taste.

The drink they serve is very cream dominant, very very dense in comparison and lack of tea with what tastes like a questionable caramel? Sugar syrup? - with no taste of classic spices like star anise. When I've asked (my 2nd time going there) the gentleman to adjust the ice and blend it - it was a very cut and dry, impossible task to come by which I found rude and unavailable of them. (Yes they gave the option to blend ice now) but I wouldn't waste/chance your time/health/money on a place that's, respectfully, "still figuring it out" at...

Unprofessional and rude! The kid on the counter told me boba is only served over ice cubes . I ask him if I can have it with crushed ice, he basically told me no! Heads up all of you customer if, decided to pay $6.50 for a cup of ice better go somewhere else. the amount of ice they will fill the cup will surprise you! About 95% of the cup. Doesn't sounds like a "tea" in my opinion 🤷. Customer service very poor just like the cleaning...

Got to the store 15 minutes before closing and as I was walking to the door they closed it, turned off the lights, and locked the door. The worker saw me but just turned around. If they aren’t going to be open until 8 like said just close at 730pm so people aren’t discouraged when coming 15+ minutes before closed and practically get the door shut on me. Very unprofessional...
