Yoshinoya — Restaurant in Palmdale

This place is running a scam. I ordered the regular size Original combo, 2 protein, rice and veggies. The picture on the menu board showed the item I've been buying for 25 years; the chicken and beef combo. Price $10.65. I notice the cashier adding $1.50 before adding the tax, so I say again...that I want the original, regular size. She says,"Yeah, I know but it's $1.50 extra for the beef." So I reiterated that I don't want any other special beef than the one shown in the picture. Again she says that what is represented in the picture is $1.50 extra. So I ask, " Whats for $10.65? That's what I want, the combo shown for $10.65. She repeats, " Yeah we still charge an additional $1.50 for that. "Why do you advertise it at $10.65, then sneakily add the $1.50? Without asking me or informing me of the extra FRAUDULENT CHARGE?" Come on man...you are thieves, fraudsters, scammers, and you are breaking fair advertising laws in consumer commerce. I walked away. The young...still wet behind the ears cashier was clueless that she was participating in breaking the law. Which is necessary for this scam to work. Clean place, employees seem nice although their system doesn't allow to claim the free items you earn with the app. I was dissapointed as the app does not longer allow you to order online from this place (haven't tried any other place either). Then the app tells you to order in-store but once there, their machine just won't acknowledge my app reward.

They have slowly increased prices which is fine, I guess everything is going through inflation everywhere, but I asked if I could have extra teriyaki sauce and they say they charge 80 cents for a tiny container. Wouldn't have an issue paying for it, but they could have offered it for free due to the incident that didn't let me claim my free bowl in their restaurant.

Used to order a lot from the app but not any more as they may have blocked the option. That makes me not really want to get anything from there anymore, on top of the fact that meat option (grilled steak) is not as good as what it used to be a few months ago.

That is a huge down grade for me. The high prices (perhaps understandable) but items that used to be given at no cost before, the lower quality meat, and smaller bowl, is a pass for me. No longer feel like getting anything from...

Went around 2-3pm on New Year’s Day. The two younger girls that were working were extremely rude, maybe they were going through some personal issues or were very unhappy that they’re working on a holiday. One was cleaning the doors which was the only entrance and was getting upset that people were using the doors and saying rude/passive, aggressive remarks such as “you know there’s two doors” instead of just simply greeting guest and advising them to use the other door. Upset that people were walking through the open one that she was cleaning instead of opening the second door, even though the pathway was wide open to walk-through, since she was just cleaning the outside of the door, not even the inside closest to the entrance. And then the pink girl hair working the register had a very bad attitude not just with my elderly parents, but other guest. She seemed very upset when people would ask her for things like soy sauce or condiments. Like it was a bother for her. Both girls seemed very unhappy and rude maybe they were going through some personal issues? I hope next year they’re in a better position where they feel good enough to treat people with just...
