El Car Wash - West Kendall — Local services in Palmetto Bay

If I could give El Car Wash on 137 Ave and 120 St zero stars, I would. This place is an absolute disaster. First off, the staff are unbelievably rude and clearly have no interest in providing any sort of customer service. The attendants act like you’re a nuisance the moment you pull in, and good luck trying to get any kind of help if you have questions about the service options—they either ignore you or give you a dismissive answer.

The wash itself was a complete joke. I paid for the highest tier service, and my car came out looking almost as dirty as when it went in. There were still streaks all over the windows, dirt on the rims, and spots missed entirely. When I pointed this out to one of the staff members, they rolled their eyes and told me it wasn’t their problem. The vacuums barely work, either. They have weak suction, and half of them are either broken or clogged. I ended up spending extra time trying to find a functional one, and even then, it barely picked up any debris.

To top it off, the place is filthy. There’s trash everywhere, puddles of dirty water, and the whole area smells awful. It’s clear that management doesn’t care about maintaining the facility at all. I’ve never experienced such a poorly run car wash in my life. Save your money and go literally anywhere else—you’ll get better results washing your car at home with a garden hose. After 9 Yrs my membership comes to an end. I really hope they don't take advantage of you but it’s bound to happen. I had never made a late payment, even when my car was in an accident I still made my payments without using their service. They have an employee by the name of G** that has no etiquette, unprofessional and is the worse person I have ever dealt with. She is definitely a liability for the company and probably just started working there. They would rather lose a customer that's been with El Car Wash for the past 9yrs. Some of the equipment at other locations are so run down and don't even work properly that it will cause damage to your car. I am really fastidious when it comes to my car and let me tell you their machinery is not well kept which causes swirl, scratches and sooner or later you will find damages on your car. I don't usually leave reviews but I just hope you don't have to be as disappointed as I am with EL CAR WASH. I also spoke to corporate and they're also unethical. They have a lady answering phones with a lack of professionalism. Hope this makes it to the owners cause they will be losing loyal clients. Randomly busy as expected, tight maneuvering around this facility as others say, but most importantly, El Car Wash is practicing what appears to be unethical business practices like seen in other reviews too.

I signed up for memberships for both of my vehicles. 2 months later when I want to just review my plan online, it asks for my last name, last four credit card, and my vehicle tag.. somehow both my vehicles are not registered online to edit the plans.. I call to ask about it and they say Oh yeah you’re missing information on your profile (something ECW would have to input) so she updates it and asks, anything else? I say no, I’ll just edit it online.. she says, Oh well users have been reporting that they can’t edit anything online.. suspicious.. ok I’ll change it now on the phone.. but if you change your plan mid billing cycle, then you get immediately downgraded with no pro-rated refund…

So you want to change or cancel your plan? You have to walk into a store or call in, a day before your billing date to get what you paid for.. sounds strategic and unethical to me!
