Iâve been to this restaurant multiple times, and unfortunately, the customer service has consistently been disappointingâparticularly when two specific staff members are working: a Cuban woman with blue eyes and a shorter Venezuelan woman (whose names I donât know). Their attitude is consistently unkind, and they often come across as dismissive and uninterested in providing quality service.
Itâs rare to be greeted with warmth, and each visit tends to involve some sort of issueâwhether itâs items missing from the order or unprofessional comments. This time, we were missing the tajadas from our order. When we inquired about it, there was no apology, just indifference.
Additionally, weâve been told more than once that they donât make quesillo because they âdonât know howâ since theyâre not Nicaraguanâsaid in a very dismissive and disrespectful tone. On another occasion, they didnât have any salad, stating they had sold out. Itâs surprising and frustrating that a Nicaraguan restaurant wouldnât prioritize having such a basic item thatâs typically part of the meal.
When we asked about fried cheese, we were told they wouldnât make it because the fryer was off and it would take too longâyet, minutes later, we saw cheese being served. It feels like thereâs a lack of consistency and a clear unwillingness to serve unless itâs convenient for them.
Itâs unfortunate, because when other staff are working, the experience is much better. These two individuals, however, have made it difficult to return. A restaurantâs success depends on its staff, and unprofessionalism like this affects both the reputation and the experience of...

Read moresome people think that just because you name a place with a recognized Nicaraguan name you are automatically Nicaraguan, WRONG! poor quality carne asada, meat felt old and almost rancid to the taste, flavorless plastic feeling side salad, girls serving food were not Nicas, did not even know what CAJETA was when I asked for one, had to show her what it was. probably place is not owned by a Nica, more like a cuban cafeteria than a Nica fritanga by now, get 2 stars because of the pretty Nica decor which they manage to ruin too by playing cuban reggeton as ambience music at a Nicaraguan decorated...
