McDonald's — Restaurant in Palmetto

The company as a whole is fantastic, making changes to cater to people that need healthier choices, and making it affordable. It's greatly appreciated honestly.

My problem is with this particular McDonald's. I have been back in Palmetto for about two years now, and every single time I have gone in there, either with or without my family, they get the order WRONG. It used to be that the cashier would take it incorrectly, but that has gotten a bit better since around February, I'd say. (Note: That isn't great, considering how long this McDonald's has been up and running.) There have been times I go with my family near closing, as time constraints keep us from going earlier, and we have had to wait 30+ minutes just to GET SOME food. When we did get it, the order was WRONG. We paid about $25 for OUR meals, not someone else's nor what the staff felt like serving us. The entire time, I could see staff goofing off in the kitchen, being excessively loud and not in the "I'm working" way. They were just being overly obnoxious. The manager at the time, I'm not sure if he's still there or not, ALLOWED this, ALLOWED my family and I to sit there for over a half hour while his staff just played around. I didn't once hear a sizzle or beep, and there was NO ONE in drive-thru, so to me, there was no excuse for this. When we did get our order, and we checked it over, all in all, we had to go up to the counter SEVEN TIMES IN THE SAME VISIT JUST TO GET OUR ORDER R I G H T .

Recently, we've been able to get there around midday, and it's a little better, save for the fact that we HAVE to sit in the restaurant for an extra three minutes just to make sure our order is right. Staff is still pretty loud, but it seems to be centralized in only a select few of them, so it isn't as bad. What gets me is that we have to wait longer for an order that is very clearly labeled on a screen above their heads, and all they have to do is put in ten more seconds of effort to make sure that EVERYTHING THAT WAS ORDERED IS IN THERE, INSTEAD OF MAKING THE CUSTOMER WAIT ANOTHER FIVE TO TEN MINUTES JUST FOR A DRINK. Would YOU want to be served like that? Yesterday, I went in with my family again, we had our order taken by a girl working drive-thru. And honestly, she did great! She took our order properly, she was pleasant, she even read off the salads since they aren't visible to customers. At this point, WHY that still is, I have no idea. But I appreciate her being so patient and pleasant and getting our order RIGHT for once. It was the girl that handing us the food that irked me, however. Because we had a (very nice) Uber driver waiting on us, my family and i quickly skimmed over our food, deemed it okay, and hurried out. The problem arose when we got home and started distributing the food and selecting what would be saved for a later meal, and I noticed that although we had a large fry listed on the receipt, it was missing from the bag. While most other people will write a short review on this restaurant, I will not because I am truly at my wit's end with this place. This is the last time I go to this McDonald's. I'm tired of paying for food that I will not receive. What's disappointing is that this is the only McDonald's within walking distance, so if I crave a frappe or something, I'll have to head into Newnan.

Overall, the staff is poorly trained and/or doesn't care enough about the customers to keep a consistent customer base. The orders are wrong 98% of the time and/or are missing a part of the order when FINALLY given to the customer. Orders take entirely too long to be "made". If the cashier doesn't mess the order up, the person handing your food over will. The staff is unmanaged, and out of control (in terms of hanging out with friends in Flash Foods or even in the lobby of the McDonald's itself). If you want what you pay for, DO NOT GO TO THIS MCDONALD'S. YOU WILL MAKE MANY RETURN TRIPS JUST TO GET WHAT YOU PAID FOR INITIALLY. Rated ONE star because I technically HAVE to. If I could rate...

Ugh, it always thinks I'm going to McDonald's when in reality, I'm going to the gas station called Flash Foods. You can literally walk from the inside of the gas station tube inside of McDonald's, as they are connected. I do not eat McDonald's, I don't like McDonald's, it's horrible for you. The things I've heard about the slaughterhouses and what goes into the meat or what that me actually is, is beyond disturbing but I'll let people do their own research. I don't like McDonald's, they are pretty much all the same. It's a bunch of workers who do not care about their job because they're so busy and they have so many different responsibilities and they get paid such a small amount and should do their job to the best of their ability because they went in knowing that but they don't. They're all the same pretty much, you may find 1 of 20 that actually does their job and cares but when I did Uber Eats, the order was never ready when they had plenty of time while I was on the way, the customer service is always horrible, if you go through the drive-thru, nine times out of 10 your order is going to be somehow messed up but besides that, after learning what's in the meat and what the meat is made of and watching the documentary called Super Size Me Palmetto I don't do McDonald's. I've never been a fan of McDonald's before that but that did me in. That's just how I personally feel about McDonald's but nobody else has to agree with how I feel or do what I do. I particularly don't like this one because the hiring manager is a liar and I know her name but I will not put it on here because I believe that is wrong. She is an absolute liar and I don't like that. I did try to get a job because at the time I need it anyting I can get that was close to me and unfortunately this was one of the choices even though I do not eat McDonald's and found out the hard way that she is a major liar, asked me to come in for an interview and then just completely ignored me and I showed up to the interview anyway and she said she didn't need me there. She should have told me that, then she said she didn't get any of my messages because she was on vacation but the other guy there for the interview, said that he got messages back from her and have been speaking to her. After sitting there for 20 minutes, she comes out and says that her employees did not tell her we were there waiting when I saw her walk in from the gas station side and I told the other guy, I'm pretty sure that's her and she's here because she had a laptop bag over her shoulder and she went through the back door so that has to be her plus she sounded like a white woman over the phone. Pacifica she was like, she acted like she had been there the whole time but nobody told her we were there which was a complete lie. She was 20 minutes late and then it took her seven minutes after that to come out from the back. Ridiculous...

The new sorry excuse for a Manager told me her name was Sara Jane.... I don't believe that for a second.... Anyways.... I came back in the store after going through the drive-thru and received 2 Happy Meals that only consisted of fries, sauce cups and a toy in each. Here's where the fun begins..... I walked in, put the boxes on the counter and she walked over to me... Just looked at me. So I began by saying I had just come through the drive-thru and my kids opened their happy meals to find NO CHICKEN. She then responded with an attitude "She pulled them before I could place the chicken in there" I theb asked why was the food just thrown in the boxes? She again just looked at me. The. poured the contents of the previous meal boxes in the trash. Asked the employees to make the nuggets. After they remade the nuggets she threw EVERYTHING in the new boxes and slammed them on the counter in front of me. I asked for sauce and she responded rudely I already gave you sauce earlier. I said you mean the ones you threw in the trash???? She then threw the sauce in each box. I then thanked her for throwing the stuff. I WILL be calling her boss and she is so DONE!!!! I am so sick of how the employees act at this location. It's sad! I won't stop until she is FIRED!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!There's no excuse for...
