This place is cute! Definitely designed with the instagrammer in mind; they have the cutest backdrop wall of soft serve cones, a mural of their rabbit logo, and the drinks and ice cream come out of a cute little window that is perfect for a boomerang-style video of getting your order. You order on one of the tablets inside and then wait for your name to be called as well as to receive a text indicating your order is ready for pick-up. The mall has a ton of parking for both regular cars and EV vehicles. They're right across from the American Girl store.
They specialize in matcha (and many other) soft serve and teas (fruit teas, matcha teas, boba, etc). They're super popular and were packed on the Saturday afternoon that I visited. As mentioned, they're located at the Stanford Shopping Center so you can use their menu to help cool down after some shopping. Additionally, they use a texting service making it efficient for you to place an order and wait outside until your order is ready. I got the matcha tea with boba. It came in a cute plastic cup with their logo and was super refreshing on a very hot day. The matcha was well-made and the boba tasted good (with a nice hint of honey and good texture). The ice creams look incredible and I saw they had buckwheat as a flavor which I will definitely be getting next time! The only downside is that it’s a little pricey IMO but it’s par for the course of bubble teas in the area so I can’t fault them for prices. I highly recommend to parents with kids, couples looking for a dessert spot,...
Read moreRabbit Rabbit Cream in Palo Alto, CA, is a charming little ice cream shop that left a big impression on me. The first thing you notice is the adorable atmosphere. It's a cozy and inviting space, perfect for indulging in sweet treats.
One thing that stood out to me was their serving size. It's just right, not overwhelming, allowing you to enjoy your ice cream without feeling overly full. Now, onto the star of the show – the ice cream. The matcha and Thai tea flavors were outstanding. Creamy, flavorful, and made with high-quality ingredients, they left my taste buds singing.
But that's not all; Rabbit Rabbit Cream also offers a unique twist with their buckwheat boba. It's not only delicious but also caffeine-free, making it a great choice for those looking for something different. The contrast in texture between the boba and ice cream is a delightful surprise.
Service at Rabbit Rabbit Cream was exceptional. The staff was friendly and eager to help, adding to the overall positive experience. And of course, I can't forget to mention the decor – it's undeniably one of the cutest I've seen in an ice cream shop.
In summary, Rabbit Rabbit Cream is a must-visit for ice cream enthusiasts in Palo Alto. With its adorable ambiance, just-right portions, exceptional ice cream flavors, unique boba offerings, friendly service, and charming decor, it's an experience...
Read moreRabbit Rabbit Cream in Stanford Mall is a great spot for a quick and delicious dessert, but be prepared for a grab-and-go experience. The shop itself is small, with just 3 self-serve kiosks for ordering. While this streamlines the process, it also means there's no indoor seating. Thankfully, the mall offers plenty of outdoor tables to enjoy your treats.
Their menu is vast, with options for every taste bud. They have specialty teas, classic milk teas, flavored milk teas, premium pure teas, boba parfaits, and even soft serve ice cream! I opted for the salted caramel milk tea, which combines Assam milk tea with salted caramel and a dollop of salted cold foam on top. It delivered a delightful balance of sweet and salty flavors. However, the drink itself felt a tad watered down, especially considering the price point for the small size.
Overall, Rabbit Rabbit Cream gets 4 stars. The wide variety of options and the delicious flavor combinations are a win. However, the slightly pricey drinks and lack of indoor seating might deter some. If you're looking for a quick and tasty dessert to enjoy while strolling the mall, this is a...
