we been to the restaurant on a saturday evening and we never had any reservation . But the staff was courteous and accommodated us and we were 4 adults with one baby requiring a high chair . All of us are vegetarians and this restaurant offered us good spread for us The restaurant offers wine menu and burmese style cocktail. I ordered Rangoon gimlet. It was good . we ordered Tea leaf salad (A mix of Burmese tea leaves, fried garlic, yellow beans, peanuts, sesame seeds, lettuce, tomato, jalapeno peppers) , Mango salad (Shredded fresh green mangoes served with fried onions, fried garlic, cabbage, red onions, yellow bean powder, cucumber )and samosa soup as starter. The server bough the salads to the table and explained the contents and mixed the salad . The salad and soups were very tasty. For the main course we ordered Veggie kabat (A mix of vegetables and tofu stir-fried with paprika, masala, tamarind, green chilies, mint leaves, tomatoes, onions and cilantro.) coconut rice ( this was tasting sweet) and home style fried rice . The table was small to accommodate all the dishes as they were served quickly . On the whole the quality of the food was excellent and would definitely recommend for vegetarians to try this restaurant

I was looking for a place to dine in with my friends so made a list of ~15 restaurants in Sunnyvale, Milpitas, San Nose, Fremont, Palo Alto, Mountain View and San Carlos. All were for different cuisines and then we decided for the Burmese food. This restaurant comes always top in my list for Burmese cuisine but since I have been here earlier so finalized the one in Milpitas (even though I was still thinking about this) so I tried to reserve a table for 10+ but didn’t get confirmation. Somehow I also wanted so I called here and the sweet lady (I forgot the name, sorry) confirmed our reservation. When we reached there we had to find the parking somewhere nearby and also had to manage a little with the space in the restaurant but after that the experience was awesome. We enjoyed the Palta, Mango Tofu, Fried Tofu, Eggplant Curry with Burmese rice, Spring rolls and Coconut curry, superb. Pros: Lovely/ Delicious food, Super nice staff including the manager, prime location (PA down town), Popular, Affordable, Easy order/payment system. Cons: A little congested for a large group but manageable, Parking on peak time can be hard (however a lot of parking is available)

Recently dined here and, regrettably, my experience left me utterly disappointed. Our server forgot to bring requested items and displayed a general lack of knowledge about the menu. The tea leaf salad, lotus chips, and roti palata were decent. The main courses were below par comapred to many of the Burmese I've had in the Bay area. Coming to the biling part, while I understand and appreciate the concept of gratuity, the manner in which it was handled at this place was unethical. Upon receiving the bill, I was taken aback to discover that a 20% gratuity had been automatically added to the total for serving a party of 5, strange, very uncommon. Nobody cared to explain, and unfortunately, since it was the closing time we left without contesting. Overall, I would think twice to dine in this restaurant if I am looking for a nice dining experience. There are plenty of other places in the area that value their patrons and offer an authentic dining experience. Save yourself the disappointment.

One of the worst lunch experiences. Zero stars for service. 2 stars for the food. Went there at 1:30 on a hot Monday. Placed our order with a gentleman who has no business being in the service industry. Ordered 2 drinks along with 4 waters for a party of 4. 15 minutes later, the appetizer came. We asked him again for some water. 10 minutes later, still no water, no drinks and the wait person didn't come to check on the table. We waited another 5-10 minutes and had to get up to get the waiter's attention. Finally, our water arrived along with an attitude. 45 minutes after sitting down, the rest of the order arrived, along with the 2 drinks. The lemongrass chicken tasted like garlic chicken. No lemongrass taste at all. The walnut prawn was passable but too much mayo and not worth the $20/plate. The beef curry is the only dish enjoyable. The beef was tender. Overall, WAY overpriced for a lunch with terrible service and mediocre food. Edit: Appreciate the response from the owner.

We were just in time before the kitchen closes at 2.30pm. Got the table by the sidewalk. Loved their screens that block sunlight but doesn’t block fully. We thoroughly enjoyed the pleasant ambience. Coming to what we ordered: Tea Leaf Salad - 👌🏼👌🏼 - It hit the right flavors. Mandatory dish. Samosa Soup - 👌🏼👌🏼- Again something we order in all Burmese restaurants, didn’t disappoint. Go for it. Chicken Noodle Soup - 👌🏼👌🏼 Veggie Kebat - 👍🏼 - First time ordering Kebat, it was okay, may be need to try the meat option, it has to be eaten with rice. Lotus Chips - 👍🏼👍🏼 - They have little to fail. Tasty! Burmese Python - 👌🏼 - Liked this compared to the fresh coconut cocktail. Crazy Coconut - 👍🏼 - It was okay. May be ruined the fresh coconut a little. Also, coconut should be a lot tender to get the best out of it. Ours was super ripe. Service was good too. Waiters were respectful and brought everything on time. Overall great lunch on a Sunday. We will definitely come back any day.
