The food at Reposado is delicious. You can order anything on the menu and you know it’ll be great. We ordered the guacamole, and the burrata crostini for appetizers. The guac was very good and fresh. The burrata was so surprisingly good. It had a tomato soup-like sauce that is very smokey, and it also has crispy kale. We also ordered off the vegetarian menu (we’re both vegetarian) and was surprised at all the options! She got the sesame crusted tofu and I got the enchiladas with heirloom beans. The tofu was the winner in the entree round, but the enchiladas were still very good. Although they were a bit spicy. We also had margs, which were superb. Service was amazing and I loved how instead of coming to see if we needed anything, our waiter told us more about the menu, talked to us about the food, and the restaurant. It felt more like a part of the experience. The only reason why I am giving this 4 stars instead of 5 is because of the drink prices. Margaritas are simple to make and I felt like mine, although delicious, wasn’t something I couldn’t make at home. Their margs were a little on the sweeter side too since they use sweet and sour. Although, I will definitely go back to do a flight of tequila. I definitely loved their huge selection of tequilas!

Caution momma's and papas with little ones - there is no diaper changing station in the restrooms! 2 stars because: a) for a kinda expensive restaurant in downtown Palo alto, which is supposedly very progressive and ppl friendly, the place doesn't have a diaper changing station! Will not go back here until they have one!!! B) food is just ok! C) they have a vegetarian menu with quite a few options Came here for lunch on a weekday with my parents and 3 month old baby. We chose to go at 11.30am (right when they open) so there isn't much of a crowd in case my baby starts crying. We got seated immediately and the hostess let me decide what's best for the baby in terms of seating. We were served immediately.. we got the guacamole (not the best I have had but it was good), veggie tacos, queso burrata and veggie enchiladas. All ok..nothing special for the price. We ended our meal with a panna Cotta and bread pudding desserts both of which were ok but not great. Good place perhaps for drinks with friends but not coming back here until they make it friendly for families with little ones!

What the hell happened? I've been going here weekly for a couple (or three?) years at least once a week (and sometimes three or four). I been known to drive many miles out of my way just for the Margarita, and I have introduced dozens (literally) to the place. Over the last year or so, there have been numerous small changes in the quality of the food (and, of all things, the paper they print their menus on), but those minor changes were tolerable. That is, until now. They have changed the wildly popular Margarita recipe, and the new one SUCKS!! I got a taste for the first time last week, and I wanted to cry. I no longer taste "100% blue agave and fresh squeezed lime" as the menu states. What I taste now is too much cane sugar and reconstituted juice. I did something I never thought I would do with a Reposado Margarita: I didn't drink it. To add insult to injury, the price of the now-crappy Margarita has gone up by 40% (during happy hour), or 25% (the rest of the time). I have no problem paying more for the best Margarita anywhere (as it used to be), but the new recipe is no better than what I can get in a bottle from Safeway. I wouldn't drink it if they were giving it away. To increase the price so much, and then serve an inferior product...that is just insulting. Rob, if you are reading this, please, please, please bring back the original...

We had a very unfortunate experience here. Our family of 4 came here specifically because one of us is vegan and wanted the vegan menu item. Right away someone got us waters. There was about 15 people at the bar and 4 other tables. It was another 10 minutes before someone came back to get our drink order so we ordered an appetizer and the entree (since only the vegan was eating a meal) at the same time. The person who took the order (presumably the manager) didn't understand my order nor the entree and came back to verify it. It was another 20 minutes before our drinks came despite only 2/3 were mixed drinks. Shortly after, the appetizer came, even though we asked for both orders to come out together. The server mentioned something about salmon, not the vegan dish, and I corrected him. It was 40 minutes total before the vegan dish came out, after I had already informed the host we would be leaving for another restaurant without the entree. Then a food runner came with the entree and I informed him, again, that we would not be paying for that but we would pay for the 3 drinks and the app. It came to $63. Ridiculously expensive for the quality and service. At the end the manager didn't really apologize, but instead had the audacity to blame it on the "kitchen not...
