Tonight was the straw that broke the camelās back. Let me start off by saying that this McDonalds is a gold mine, the location is excellent and there is always cars in the drive through at any given point of day or night. The positive reviews I read before leaving mine must be during the day shift when they are fully staffed and happy to be there. (Idk?)
I pulled in shortly after 2Am, (I am here at least once a week at this hour) I was the third car in line to the window after I ordered. I was informed it will be cash only. No problem. I ordered the four piece sweet/spicy tender meal and the wait begun. Before I made it to the paying window it was a solid 15 minutes, once again with two cars ahead of me. I get to the window, no one knows what I ordered so I let them know, the lady rings it up. I asked what was going on today? āWeāre short handedā I was told. From that interaction I wait another 7-10 minutes to pickup my order. I am handed a bag and the lady asks āwhat did you have to drink?ā Once again I repeat part of my order. Finally get the drink and pull away. I look in the bag, my fry box is half full (let me remain optimistic vs the half empty.) I pull over to eat one minute after leaving the window there is no fork in my bag to eat the tenders with. Can it get worse? Yes, by the time I get to eat my food it is cold and not so good!
Few tips for management/owners.
Customer service 101. When I was picking up my order something along the lines of āwe are so sorry for your wait today, we upgraded your fry to a large size for your inconvenience.ā Simple fifty cent upgrade or whatever it costs will make any customer feel appreciated after a 20 minute wait spent waiting for their food. It doesnāt cost anything on the inside to do this and might bring thise angry customers back with an open mind.
Hire some more workers/give them incentives to work over night. Everyone I encountered seemed like they hated their job. Yes I get it, itās McDonalds, itās the middle of the night but there is no excuse for poor customer service but it all starts with ownership and upper management. I am big on customer service, I truly believe it is important especially in your industry.

I let it slide when you said I have to pay for ketchup. I was like you know what Iāll just use the ketchup at home and then I let it slide when you said I have to pay for extra syrup in the morning for breakfast. I was like OK thatās fine. It doesnāt take a lot to grab the salt shaker and shake a few in the fry container. I used to work there. All you needed to do you just pick up a container filled with salt that has a handle that is on top of the fry machine, and all you do is flip your hand upside down and guess what it takes One second of your time that you are getting paid to do on the job so thereās no reason why anyone at all should have unsalted fries. you wanna take her money You want to keep smaller and charging for condiments and giving us such a hard time if we asked for a cup of water, but you donāt want to give good service is...

A few months back, I had ordered the guacamole sandwich and asked for only cheese and guacamole. I also ordered two large fries. I get home and realize there is only one fry, and everything is on my guacamole sandwich. I go all the way back and they expect me to pay for a new sandwich even though they had made the mistake. After finally deciding to make me a new sandwich for free, which took about 20 minutes, I look in the bag and see they forgot my other fry again. I asked why the wait took so long and they told me the drive through was busy and those customers come first even though I was there before all of them and had to make the trip back! One of the managers is very rude and was yelling at my mom and I because we demanded that meal for free and were complaining on the wait. At that point, we did not even want to eat from there. Today, I had went through the drive through which took a long time, and they would not accept my card. I asked if I could speak to a manager, and the girl rudely said no. I asked to speak to a manager because usually they can enter the card manually. Anyway, I went to another Mcdonald's and got the correct order, with my card...
