Captain D's — Restaurant in Panama City

Horrible, they lock the fro t door, forcing you to the drive thru. After waiting close to 15 minutes I finally got my food. Immediately there was a problem, I ordered the 3 piece classic fish, I was given 2 pieces of classic and a spicy. Due to medical condition I cannot eat spicy. I called the restaurant while still sitting in thr parking lot, the person claiming to be manager on duty said to pull back around. That's fine bot now another 10 minute wait because there is other cars. When I finally get to the window, the girl working it just walks away leave me just sitting. Finally the person claiming to be manager comes and said the girl miss understand. I pointed out my receipt clearly states 3 classic. By the way, by her own admission the manager is also the one in the back Making the plates. Ok no problem replace the order, sure just the fish which o has to wait another 5 minutes and was given the same fries and green beans back, which was now cold. Walked in waited awhile before the lady came back to counter from kitchen. She walked pasted us and said “be with you in a minute”. Walked over to window and I am not sure what she did, did not see anyone in drive through messed around at window for a few seconds and came to the window where food is ready to be delivered to customers. The food had been sitting in the window since we had come in. She picks up food to take to customer which was sitting in the waiting area, as she passed she said “ I will be with you in a minute” and takes food to the customer. As she returned to the counter, the phone rang and she answered the phone. At this time we decided to leave due to poor service. As we walked away, I heard ask the customer who was behind us “ could she help them”. This happed around 11:30 am on 2/5/25 in Panama City Fl. The worst service I have ever received. I went to captain D’s on 23rd Panama City only because the last time I had it a few weeks back it was so fresh and very good so my bad for thinking it would be the same. First off sat in the drive through a min or so before some young lady mumbled something on the speaker that wasn’t understandable but never the less I gave my order for the two piece fish and French fries, drove around and one car in front of me (hope they got hot food) mine was so terrible I think it was cooked at lunch. The fries could not be eaten ( hard as a rock) and the one piece of fish was dried out and terrible. The hush puppies however were good ! I have ZERO idea how you can take someone’s money and knowingly put this food in a box knowing it wasn’t fresh or even cooked in the last hour.
