I had an awesome night out at The Dive in Panama City—and let me tell you, this place knows how to deliver a good time without emptying your wallet.
First off, the vibe is exactly what you want from a dive bar: unpretentious, welcoming, and full of character. It’s got that laid-back, local charm that instantly makes you feel like a regular—even if it’s your first time walking in.
The drink menu? Solid. I tried the pineapple hard cider, and it was amazing. Super refreshing, perfectly chilled, and a flavor that hits just right in Florida’s heat. It quickly became my go-to for the night.
They were also selling jello shots that were—no joke—dangerously delicious. Think nostalgic party vibes but way tastier. And get this—the prices were insanely reasonable. Like… “are you sure this is my whole tab?” kind of reasonable.
As an added bonus, I got to catch Ashley Morgan performing live, and she crushed it! The Dive clearly knows how to pick their talent, because the music totally elevated the experience without overpowering it. Great acoustics and a cozy setup made it feel like a personal concert.
Final word? Whether you're there for the drinks, the live music, or just to unwind with good people, The Dive nails the vibe. Great prices, great energy, and a spot that delivers way more than you'd expect. I’ll...
Read moreThis is a cool place to grab a cheap beer and hang out. they do have two pool tables and darts. The bathroom is a little odd for the guys, but it is what it is haha. The service has always been great.
From my last 4-5 visits I've noticed people visibly messed up on more than just booze. So just been on the lookout and keep your distance. Not that they were causing any harm to anyone but they're just annoying when they're slurring and tweaking around you and falling into you and your partner. So, it would be nice if the bouncers and staff would take care of this before something bad does happen.
The beers are always cold, the live music is always great and if you like EDM they have it on some nights. Overall, a solid spot to grab a libation and relax along the bay. The staff has always been friendly and welcoming and very quick...
Read moreThe name does a pretty good job of describing the place and atmosphere. On the small side, no tv, satatlite radio, 2 electronic dart boards, a ping pong table, and 3 pool tables. Drinks are strong and prices aren't that unreasonable. It's mostly a hipster hangout and not much has changed expect the name. It still looks, and feels like watershed. Pools 1.25$, darts I believe would be 1.50$ and ping pongs free. Two or three long island iceteas usually taps me out at 6$ a pop and after tipping it's one of the cheaper bars in PC. The view outside is the best thing it has to offer, typically end up sitting at a table stargazing 🌟. 21+ to enter closes at 4am. Would rate it a 3 1/2 if it was available but it's not 4 star material. I'd recommend the Salty Hobo to anyone this side of the bridge, personally prefer it over No...
