Brine on the Bay BBQ — Restaurant in Panama City

I visited on Saturday night, after the 4th, around 10 PM. I attempted to make a reservation, the online system was unresponsive, so don’t waste your time with that. Fortunately, when I arrived, there was no wait, and I was able to place my order immediately.

The two young gentlemen taking my order either struggled with a language barrier or were just in a playful mood, as they responded to my questions with laughter and jokes, which let me confused and asking more questions about food items.

I ordered ribs, and while two of them were mostly fat, the other two were very tender and delicious. The sides were tasty, but as shown in the picture of my to-go box, I felt the portions didn’t quite match what I paid. That's my main complaint; they were a bit stingy with the sides. If you truly want a generous serving, I recommend ordering sides as add-ons—my potato salad was plentiful and quite good.

Wow! Finally a BBQ spot I can enjoy without worrying about the bbq sauce not being right or the meat not being right! This place has hit it right on the head! Talk about tender flavorful brisket! I’m not the biggest fan of brisket but I do not regret trying it out here! Chefs kiss. I’m a sucker for good sides and baby the Mac and Cheese and baked beans had me at hello! I ordered an extra side before I headed out. Ribs were my favorite! When you can enjoy a rib without the sauce you know it’s done with love! I love a good meal and anytime I’m looking for a hearty meal made with love I make my way to Brine on the Bay. The atmosphere is perfect there is a great view to check out the water, or dock your boat and come grab a bite!!! I had the pleasure of meeting the owners on one of my visits and they were extremely pleasant! I definitely enjoyed my stop and recommend to anyone looking for a good bbq joint in PC. My wife and I went to Panama City for a few days to look at retirement possibilities. After driving all day we were hungry. We wanted BBQ, so we Googled a place that was close to our AirBnB. We ordered online and drove over to pick it up. When I walked in it smelled like a BBQ joint is supposed to smell. They gave me my order of pulled pork and smoked pork chop, with sides and dessert, and as I was about to leave Mama Shirley walked in with a 7-Up cake. I already had 2 famous Mama Shirley banana puddings in my bag but I promised to coma back in a day or two. The pulled pork and smoked pork chop were incredible. The banana pudding was some of the best we've had. A couple days later, on a Sunday, we went back and the owner outside smoking some meat. They were closed, unfortunately, but he remembered me and they gave us two pieces of Mama Shirley's 7-Up cake.
