We talked to a couple of pelicans, not much on conversation. Walked the lower pier around the store, sat down where u would tie up for gas for boat. To our surprise.... A Dauphin! Cruzin by, checking for nibbles. On his daily route, he come back by to see us again. Such a nice afternoon thing to do! We saw big fish little fish,horse shoe crabs. So many things to see. By far the most accommodating and welcoming was Saint Andrew's Bay Marina and Brian, it's incredible superintendent. The marina store and the visitor's pavillion were largely undamaged and are open for business, and it looks like a handful of slips are available for docking, but 95% of the slips are gone or unusable. There is a St. Andrew's Marina Facebook page which shows the post-Michael conditions: it appears the easternmost pier actually broke off in the storm, took all moored vessels with it and doubled BACK on itself, crushing all the other vessels into the seawall. The broken boats have all been pulled out of the wreckage, but there is still a LOT of debris left...
