Luci's Chicken N Rice — Restaurant in Pantego

I love luci chicken but the one in grand prairie I go there 3 times a week and because it was raining and this one is closer I came here this has not been my first visit I work near the Grand prairie one so I go there often . Tonight I wanted some basic chicken wings no sauce didn't want to pay KFC prices and didn't want to travel to grand prairie I didnt want wing stop or hooters that are 1/2 a mile away or chicken express Golden chick or popeyes all in the area. I chose lucis I should have gone closer. my wings were weirdly small smaller than normal drumettes I also ordered onion rings as a side I received 3 onion rings like onions are dirt cheap I tried to call several times to get it right but no answer so I came here because they need to have the same standards as the grand Prairie location I want the same service the same quality the same amount no where in fast food anywhere do they give you 3 onion rings that is insane and they knew that's why they didn't answer the phone. I come to this location as well and I often make a large fish or chicken order and it's on game day etc. I usually go to them not cool to not answer the phone and not cool to charge me for a full price for onion rings and give me 3 I have ordered in grand prairie and never dealt with this not a good value for my money or travel...

Their customer service is bad. I ask for a peach tea which cost over $4 a cup but I ask for it without ice and they said that they couldn't do it. So I ask for a small sample taste to see if it was worth me paying that much for it and again they said no.flat out refused a paying customer a sample taste. So I passed on the peach tea and got a fountain drink. So when I got my order it was wrong, I'm happy that I checked it before driving off. If I had drove all the way home to discover it, I would not have been happy to have to drive back up there in 5 pm traffic. And they are also more costly than other chicken places. A 2 piece dinner for example is .80 more that at Lisa's chicken. So between the bad customer service and the cost it is fair to say that I will definitely not go back. They lost a customer that loves to buy fast food chicken and sides. No wonder their parking lot is always...

I allow myself a fast food meal one night per week as part of my ongoing diet. I found two places that clients claimed to have the best fried chicken so I came to Luci's Chicken N Rice. This place set a new standard to what Fried Chicken should be. Despite being Fried Chicken, it was not as oily as other brands which is something I wasn't expecting. The Chicken was also not as salty either and was perfectly cooked in the inside. With this combination, you do not feel as guilty when you take the next bite and start to appreciate the food. Other menu items were good as well such as the rice and fried okra.

The menu is vast in regard to variety and you get the sense of family run business with the workers. I would easily recommend this...
