Read more08/17/21: I was in Las Vegas for work again and ordered Lefty-J’s. Once again, the food is top notched. So good!!
06/22/21: Excellent food and fast delivery through Uber Eats. I hadn’t eaten all day and got a plate with everything aka the 5 Star Sampler (teriyaki beef, bbq chicken, kalbi, chicken katsu, and crispy fried chicken with 3 scoops of rice, a scoop of macaroni salad, and side of katsu sauce). I also got a side of macaroni salad and a Hawaiian Sun Lilikoi Lychee.
Food: the 5 Star Sampler is huge!! Lefty-J’s was very generous with portions. This is easily two meals. Of the 5 meats, my favorites were the Lefty-J’s crispy fried chicken and kalbi (beef flanken ribs). The crispy fried chicken had a really crispy/crunchy flavorful crust with tasty dark meat. The kalbi was flavorful and had a nice char to it. Third on my list is the bbq chicken. It’s only third because the kalbi and crispy fried chicken was just so good. The bbq chicken was nice as well and i would recommend it. The bottom goes to the chicken katsu and teriyaki beef. The katsu was crispy, but the white meat was a little dry. The katsu sauce helps, but I would pass on this. The teriyaki beef had nice flavor, but it was a tad over cooked and chewy. I do like macaroni salad and Lefty-J’s version is pretty good. Nothing over the top. Just good. Overall, very delicious food. The drink is delicious and a little too sweet for me.
Service: I ordered through Uber Eats and got my food within the 30-40 minute quote. The food was package well and I got everything I ordered.
Overall: 5/5 I would definitely go back to Lefty-J’s when I’m in the area. Great stuff!!
01/17/22: I’ve ordered twice more from Lefty-J’s. This is the one restaurant that I’ve eaten the most from when I’ve visited Vegas since this past summer. It’s so good. Wish they...

My husband went to pick up dinner and said this place is located next to a sketchy area so be careful when driving around here.
He got the Garlic Chicken/Beef Combo ($20.95) which was enough for the two of us to share. For the beef, we got meat jun which was one of the best I had. The meat jun was so tender and delicious that I couldn't stop om nom noming on it! The garlic chicken was also pretty good but I liked the meat jun better. The meat jun comes with its own dipping sauce as well. The garlic chicken was crunchy, thick, and flavorful. They also give 2 scoops of rice which is like a hybrid between broken rice and sushi rice. It has the softness and stickiness of the sushi rice but the grain length of the broken rice. It was so unique and a winner in my book! The mac salad was the only basic thing.
He also paid for teriyaki sauce ($1.25) which came in a pretty big plastic container but it really wasn't necessary. Overall: 4.5/5 (takeout)
We came on Friday at lunch time so it took 40 minutes for them to make our food. Their menu isn't the full thing for some reason. They don't have meat jun on there; it's only offered on the combo entrees which are displayed on a TV screen by the ordering counter. They give a generous portion so each combo is enough for two people to share.
Lefty-J's Fried Chicken/Kalbi Beef Short Ribs ($19.95): Their short ribs were good but nothing special. Their fried chicken was really good, especially with the sauce. There was a good amount of chicken meat, the batter was crispy, and the pieces were huge. However, we both like the previous combo we had a lot more - the garlic chicken and...
