Lobster ME — Restaurant in Paradise

OMG!!! Amazing. I stopped over to check out the prices because the entrees seemed appealing, but I was a little afraid of the prices, but once I received my food, I realized that the price was definitely appropriately. They are not shorting you on the portion. I was very pleased. I loved that the associate, who was very friendly and comedic also, was able to answer my question about what type of fish was in the entree I wanted. It was haddock and not cod, which was nice. The waffle fries were fantastic, I haven't had great waffle fries in a very long time. I was so happy, all of us were pretty satisfied with our meals, we all had water to drink and they even gave a regular size cup for water, that just put the icing on the cake for me. I was so happy getting on the plane I went right to sleep. My son finished eating his meal when he got home 6 hours later and he was still pleased with the taste. Thank you Lobster Me, when I return to Vegas, I will be visiting. Please everyone spread the word, Lobster Me is the place to be. Oh btw, if you're not big on fried foods, I just removed the breading from my haddock, it was fried very well and it was very easy to do with the fork, I decided to use all my fried calories...

'Cheap' lobster?! Only in Vegas I suppose.

You get what you pay for. The lobster isn't the freshest, but it's not bad at all, and it's a good value for what you pay for.

I didn't opt for the lobster roll, but it looked pretty good.

We got: Lobster bisque ($9) - comes in a sourdoughbread bowl and serves 2. Comes piping hot. Wish there was more lobster flavor, but hey, can't complain for the price. It was a'ight.

Lobster tacos ($14) - meh. I was trying to be a taaaaaaad healthier but regretted it right away. The lobster was kinda dry (I mean, I wasn't expecting it to be fresh.. but still - again, fair for the price) and the tortilla/salsa was pretty whatever. The salsa came in a small serving cup and was probably canned. It comes with chips so it makes it seem like it's a better deal, I didn't have any though. The portion was pretty satisfying.

Chowder fries ($7) - THIS WAS MY FAVORITE THING! It's just chunky fries with cheese and clam chowder, simple but oh, so good (not good FOR you of course..). The fries were big and seemed double-fried so it held up to the chowda and cheese. The flavor was spot-on. I would return just for this.. and MAYBE to try the...

Manager Dan took the order and his cook failed to make sure to complete the order properly. Took the order back and had to return it again too because of the way him and his cook reacted + failed to put the sauce in the bag. Dan provided no resolve or resolution and never apologized just took food. Not sure but he had 2 other unhappy customers and I suppose he was having a bad day, but there is no excuse for poor customer service not just once but twice. I would recommend coaching and retraining the manager Dan and the cook. When I pay top dollar and give property gratuity I expect the same type of service in return. Or better yet get the order right the second time around. I have had bad service but never felt unimportant or as irrelevant as Dan made me feel. Botton line; quality control from the cook and responsibility for the failure of the poor customer service food preparation/ Dan could have shown some type of effective resolution...
