First of all, if you ever use Ticketmaster to purchase anything like this, BEWARE!!!!! The verbiage on their website is extremely ambiguous, misleading and confusing when purchasing tickets on it. Here’s my experience: in November of 2023, I purchased (2) “Meet & Greet” tickets for the April 11th, 2024 Scorpions event in Las Vegas. In case you don’t know, if you wish to go to the actual concert, you must purchase separate tickets for that, from the Meet & Greet tickets. I spent $1,805 for what I thought was Meet & Greet AND the concert. As you can see on pic of my purchase receipt, it indicates that I have purchased (2) tickets in the General Admission section, right in front of the stage. To me, that’s a very clear message that I had seats at the concert. Super! I thought all was taken care of. Being that I live out of state, I paid for a hotel room and airfare to Vegas, as well as incidentals such as transportation while in Vegas and meals, etc., in addition to the $1,805 I already spent for the damned tickets. Only 24 hours before the concert, I get an email telling me the rules about the Meet & Greet; very strict guildelines which boiled down to this: in a span of 1/2 hour, you get (1) photo taken with the band, that's it. No shaking hands, no autograph of a personal item, nothing else. 1 picture for $1,805. Now, here’s the fun part: three hours before the Meet & Greet, I go pick up the tickets, which have actual seat numbers on each ticket, as you can see in the picture. Just below the seat numbers, it indicates that the tickets are not valid for admission to the show itself. When I asked to confirm that I had admission to the actual concert, I’m told by the tall girl with the nose ring, "umm, I think so". I said I wanted confirmation, and was then told “No”. WHAT?????? Ticketmaster indicates on their website, that this “add-on” cannot be purchased without event tickets, i.e. admission to the concert, so how was I able to do just that? I’m then told that there were a few General Admission tickets left, and if I wanted to, I could purchase (2) for an additional $375. And to find all of this out a mere 3 hours before the event was horrifying! I was devastated by all of this! There was NO WAY I was going to shell out another penny for what I considered to be a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity The only positive thing to come out of this was that Ticketmaster did give me a refund since, thankfully, I called them prior to the event to request it. So, after all this, I never did see the Scorpions concert, nor did I go to the Meet & Greet. My advice: DON’T USE TICKETMASTER TO PURCHASE EVENT TICKETS!!!!! And Bakkt Theater, hire people who know what...
Read moreI just went & saw Kelly Clarkson!!! She was awesome!! I wish they had more TV's around the theater to be able to see the performers better if your not sitting up close. It was nice that they had a sign before going into the performance that it was recommended to stand up during the concert cause lots of peeps were!!
There was an annoying camera that kept going back & forth from the ceiling recording the show I believe??? It's in all my videos, kinda obnoxious! We had a couple In our seats by accident & they moved once they realized they were in the wrong section. The guy sitting next to me was using my cup holder to put his tall can in it but his wife next to him was using his. Either their left handed or don't realize your cup holder is to the right of you, not to the left of you, on the back of the seat in front of you!!! lol Sound system is still good, seats comfy, lighting good when getting up during the show to go out of the theater & see your way. I bought a sweatshirt, was $$$$$$ $80 but I'm not a big fan of the t-shirts!
And to Pete the super cool bartender!!!!! Thanks for taking care of me!!! They've changed their seltzer brands ...wasn't a fan of the flavors so I went with a Tito's & soda and grabbed a pop corn! His hun was out of carbonation & he told me to go to the bar next to his but I was like "can't you just go over there & get soda water from him?" "Let's finish my sale with you!" So that's what he did! Super nice guy! Wish I had asked when the concert was over cause I might of grabbed a discounted refill of my drink!! lol I've got another souvenir cup to add to my...
Read moreFirst timer at Zappos and I was very pleasantly surprised with the venue. We saw Gloria Trevi and Karol G on 9/14/19, and as an old tall white dude among the predominately shorter hispanic crowd, I really got into it with mi pequena tigresa, because Gloria was her favorite singer since she became popular in Mexico about 30 years ago, and this was her first time seeing her live. I kept this concert a secret all the way until we actually got to the Zappos entrance. Her face was priceless when she found out...
Zappos gets 5 stars because as I said earlier, I am an old tall white dude, but still love to rock out. The seats at the theater were very comfortable and at 6'3", my knees were not jammed into the back of the seat in front of me!!! AWESOME!!! I had about 2 or 3 inches of space, and as an old, tall, white dude with bad knees, that alone would make any concert worth watching. The sound system was great since the theater is relatively new, and Gloria's crew made full use of it without any distortion, and she knows how to belt out her tunes with her sweet and sexy cougar voice. The beer selection is not all that great (no IPAs, just your big 4 or 5 corporate beers), but there is a good variety of mixed drinks available. I had a triple Jameson's and ginger ale, (32 oz.) and at $24, it got me through the 2.5 hours of music just fine.
Overall, the evening was one for both of us to remember for the rest of our lives. Zappos alone gets 5 stars, Gloria gets another 5 stars as well, for a total of 10 stars. Madonna has nothing...
