This is the reason why most of us shop online now. With all the competition that stores are facing nowadays with online shoppers, youâll think that your experience inside the stores would be a little more pleasant. As I am becoming an online shopper, I went to the store on 16250 Paramount Blvd, Paramount, CA 90723, to return a Christmas present that I got (something too small for me), when I walked into the store I ask the security guard: I am returning this item, can you please tell me where to go? Than he instructed me to go to the return line, a line with only two people, now three, including myself. On the regular line for purchases were about 20 to 25 people. There are only two cashiers that did not pay any attention to customers, rude, no customers service at all. Their conversation about their work drama, days off and what they had for lunch, was more important than the actual customers.
25 minutes passed by and I was still at the same spot with two persons in front of me. At this time someone else is getting upset and start arguing with one of the cashiers, calling her names. At this point, as my time is very valuable as well as all the other 30 people on the line, I asked one of the cashiers to please call a manager for me. The manager came, no introduction, nothing, her way was: âYESâ, to what I replied⌠are you the manager? Yes, I am the manager! Since I experienced the behavior of the employees, I wasnât surprise by the manager answer. I explained to her the unpleasant situation that we as customers were having at her store. Once I finished with my explanation, se reply with a âthank youâ. this time, her answer did shock me. I asked her. What are you thanking me for? To what she replied. For letting me know, anything else? I replied. I was just hoping for you as manager to show some sympathy and say: I am sorry you feel that way and had that bad of experience, Iâll assigned another person to a register to speedy the line. Then I said: this is unacceptable, can you provide me your corporate number? Despite this, I was abruptly told to leave at 10 PM, even though the store was still open. I had a cart full of items, totaling over $300, and was ready to pay when I was approached and treated extremely rudely.
Your behavior was unprofessional, disrespectful, and completely uncalled for. Taking my cart, refusing to let me finish shopping, and speaking to me in a dismissive tone showed a total lack of customer service and basic human decency. If the store closes at 11, customers should be allowed to shop until then â not forced out an hour early just because someone wants to leave early.
The way I was treatedâespecially by an older woman wearing glassesâwas unacceptable, and I will not be returning to this store because of it. I hope this message serves as a wake-up call about how you treat paying customers. Well about a week ago I needed to grab something real quick so against my better judgment I went in & when I did it was amazing the security guard at the door (Tall African-American) he was so friendly & welcoming, it really made me feel I had made the right choice by coming in, he was even nice when checking my receipt I know this is weird, but he made me feel so welcoming.
