**Update 09/07/2022 Thanks to the idiot governor murphy, we no longer have plastic bags for takeout food. So now when food, sauces, spices and juices spill, they leak through the paper bag and onto your car seat and your clothes too! Cant wait for holiday shopping with zero bags! Im sure a lot more NJ shoppers will be buying on Amazon instead of buying at our NJ malls. (The paper bag switch is no fault to the manager/owner of Nori. It is 100% fault of our idiot governor.)
To the owner/manager of Nori, please bring back plastic bags. As noted in my review, other customers and other reviews, plastic bags are necessary. Food in containers will always spill. No bag means the shopper will just go home and leave the mall instead of shopping. Paper bag means the shopper will spill the food & sauces leaking all over clothes and car. Plastic bags will help because they are waterproof and can hold a lot which allows the shopper to keep shopping without worrying if food and sauces will spill all over them. The happier shoppers are, the longer they will shop, and come back for more food and will want to shop at this mall more often. If you help to do the opposite (paper bags or no bags), the shoppers will not want to stay long or come back to this mall.
Side comment... now that it appears as if Master Wok has closed permanently, we now only have 4 choices remaining in the PP Mall.. Nori, Charleys Sandwiches, Nathans(overpriced), and Chickfila. The heart of any mall is its foodcourt. Without a strong foodcourt, people will have little interest in shopping longer. **end of update
Excellent Japanese Teriyaki chicken!! Nori Japan takes over the old location of Sarku Japan, but the flavor and deliciousness is almost as good š
The food was yummy. You can watch the chef sear fry your meal fresh as you wait. The employees are super friendly. The prices are just right at roughly $9 for a meal and roughly $2 for a fountain drink. Lines are moved quickly. The food is always fresh and yummy.
Several other food options if you are not in the mood for chicken. The rice is fluffy and good.
Pros: Delicious food Several menu choices Good drink selection Friendly employees Fast service Fresh food cooked in front of you Can customize your food (vegetable, no vegetable, extra souce or no sauce etc) Good prices Plenty of seating in the food court
Cons: Paper bags instead of plastic bags. So as soon as your food and sauces spill, they will soak through the paper bag and leak all over you, you clothes and your car. Please bring back plastic bags! Plastic bags are useful, helpful and much cheaper than paper bags for the owner/manager.
Great job bringing good Japanese teriyaki chicken back to the Paramus Park Mall!!
Thank you...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreThis mall has a small variety of food options so we picked this on but Iāll say itās The most depressing/humiliating Asian/Chinese food Iāve ever tasted in my life. The food is so plain and very very not tasteful. They barely have any choices at all. And their so called āvegetablesā are cabbage and carrots, literally nothing else. If you ask for extra sauce they put an extra spoon full which is a complete joke like cmon put some more. Their noodles also donāt taste appetizing, nothing really has taste. The workers are also so miserable looking and donāt even give eye contact just say...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreOne of the best places for meal in Paramus Park mall. Teriyaki chicken is really good, the sauce has delicious flavor. Fried rice and white are also really good. Each combo has huge amount of protein and rice. Price of the combos are fair. They also have some sides dishes like dumplings, spring rolls and noodles.
Food is cooked and served pretty quickly, unless they need to cook a fresh batch of chicken. Condominiums are available in front...
